Hi forum mates! For those who plan to buy their tickets in the Travel Madness Expo this weekend (July 3-5) in SMX, we cannot purchase one-way tickets and tickets with more than 1 month travel period from PAL. I just don't know about the other airlines.

Mga kbayans who are really keen to move to Canada,if you have nothing to leave in the philippines then canada is your perfect option but if you have a better job you bette to think twice. I've landed 5 months ago then I am now leaving canada as canada is not for us...but its all different circumstances. I am not discouraging anyone but just relating personal experience. If you have canadian work experience then you "may" possibly find a job here otherwise it will be tough. Good luck to all..

Hi zyber12... Are you a PR or citizen of Australia? I just thought engineering is also regulated in Australia? I hope you can share more of your experiences in Canada.

I have a planned business travel +/- 1 week 1st week of August. If I complete my requirements by June 17, what are the chances that CEM requests for my passport after that - i.e. week Jul 20? Jul 27? How long does it take them to send you back your passport?

And if ever I get the request for passport but I have to travel, can I request for some additional time before handing it to them? Or can I request for them to process the visa faster so I can get my passport earlier? How do I do this? Anybody with a similar experience that can share?

Vancouver is not a good place for Engineers. There are many success and failure stories, but you are right, Canada is not for everyone. Perhaps you can provide more details of your experience so other may learn. Goodluck on your next journey.

Agree..filipino are fighters and i did...if you are an IT or computer engineers then you may find a job here but other engineers may find it hard. I am a Chartered Professional Engineer from Australia. I lost the job in AU and no more opportunity that is why i decided to try to Canada. But when i start applying for a job then canadians were looking for Local experience which i don't have. I didn't received a single interview nor phone calls. Life is so expensive and no relative here so running out of budget...i should go to alberta than british columbia...if i have another 20k budget then i would stay a bit more....goodluck to all...

I am an OZ citizen. Just don't have job in australia as australia is not in good shape at this stage..i am Chartered Engineer in Australia with 15yrs solid australian engineering experience. I should go to Alberta than BC..

Hello everyone.. We have some queries about our application.. plz do help us..
Due to ambivalent feelings about why we haven't receive ppr yet after a month our medicals was received.. We would like to know its average waiting period or any reasons u know why it took quite long than others??
Another thing is we already sent our rprf together with our newborn's documents.. is that would be ok??
Also, our newborn has no MR yet.. When would we possibly expect or receive it??
For those who has the same case with us or those who could help us we would really appreciate ur feedbacks.. God bless!!
