hello everyone! i've been visiting this forum for some tips and it's a big help especially to those who are waiting (like us)... it gave us an idea at least on what and when to expect. thanks everyone. just want to share our timeline so far..

And today lang po may second line na sa ECAS. It said: we started processing your application on March 25, 2015. (two days ago!)

Hi gladysumali,

Ang ibig sabihin ng second line, kapag nagcheck ka dun sa ECAS mo, IN PROCESS yung status pero pag nagclick ka nung IN PROCESS, may nakalagay ng number 2. We start processing your application DATE SPECIFIED. Hindi na lang yung 1. We received your application DATE.

After PER, kung Manila VO ka, antay ka na lang ng MR. Usually yun yung trend na after PER, MR na. It takes 3 to 4 mos kung Manila VO.

Hi kaemeemanalo - Sabi ni father nabinyagan naman sya..pero ito ung time na nagkakagulo sa Pilipinas..nung Japanese-American war.. ...so madami syang nawalang documents. So ung plan ko is to just ask him for an affidavit and then provide a different document. I think ung purpose sa paghingi is to establish relationship with my aunt who is in Canada. May typo kasi ung birth certificate ni Aunt so magkaiba ung mother's name sa birth certificate ni father at sa birth certificate ni aunt...what a difference a letter makes. Do you think that should be okay? I can include a cover letter nalang when I send the additional documents.

By any chance do you or any of the seniors here have a template for cover letter for additional documents?

Also, is it normal to only receive a request for supporting documents without the RPRF, update to ECAS 2nd line??

Hi back2work! I had a problem sa birth cert ng dad and aunt ko, magkaiba naman ang date of marriage ng lolo and lola ko both sa birth cert nila. Actually sa lahat ng anak ng lola ko, walang may tamang date of marriage ng parents. I thought kailangan ko pa ipaayos sa NSO but I was advised by my agent then na magpagawa ng affidavit of discrepancy sa attorney to prove na magkapatid sila and same ang parents nila. I used my Aunt's documents kasi sa application. So My dad went to an attorney and nagpagawa siya ng 2 affidavits, one for him and the other for my lola. In addition, nagsama lang kami ng documents like marriage contract. In your case, your lola and dad may provide for an affidavit in behalf ng tita mo. Alam naman na ng mga attorney kung anong isusulat sa affidavit but your lola must sign and attest sa papers.

Not a senior here, just sharing my experience. Hope this helps kahit papano. Good luck!

3. Medical results have been received.

I checked earlier today but no update as of yet.

When should I expect PPR?

Exactly 1 month from 3rd line update, PPR na rin sa wakas.. (around 8.30am today). THANK YOU GOD! ALL GLORY TO YOU! Kinabahan po ako dun ah. Hehe.

Waiting is the hardest but don't lose hope. Iba talaga pag sinusurprise ka ni God. It is truly worth the wait

Here's my timeline btw:
Application Recieved: June 18, 2014
PER: Oct. 16, 2014
2nd Line Update: Feb. 10, 2015 (dated Feb. 5)
MR and RPRF Request: Feb.11, 2015
Medical Exam: Feb. 16, 2015
Medical Results Delivered: Feb. 23, 2015
Medical Results Received by CEM: Feb. 24, 2015
RPRF Encashment: Feb. 24, 2015
3rd Line Update: Feb. 27, 2015
PPR Received: Mar. 27, 2015
Passports Sent to CEM: Mar. 30, 2015 (since weekend pa)

Salamat po. NOC 2133. I'm not sure where nila finorward yung application namin, pero we put Singapore since we are based here. May applications din daw kasi na kahit andito sa Pinas pa rin pina-process.
