For some reason that picture is quite disturbing.

Anyway, a little thought for a Friday...

Some clown used the other FSW2013 thread to pretend that the cap had been updated.
When he did so, it overloaded the real CIC cap page and it wouldn't load for a bit (and is still a bit slow).

I wonder therefore how on earth many people read the forum?!

Hi seniors,

Could anyone give me an opinion? I'm not sure if my reference letters are detailed enough, so I was wondering if CIC would accept new ones to attach in my original package.

Also, please see bellow my referrence letters and advise me if it's ok or not.

Letter 1:

In response to recommendation request of Mr. XYZ, we confirm that during two years and a half he has performed the role of Programmer and System Analyst. He has worked in our company from July 2006 to July 2007 as programmer and from July 2007 to November 2008 he has provided consulting services, being assigned the responsibility for systems analysis, maintenance and development, as well as database administration. He also developed new modules for our corporate system.

Letter 2:

In response to recommendation request of Mr. XYZ, we confirm that during one year and a half he has performed the role of Web Designer and Programmer. He has worked in our company from June 2004 to January 2006 and was assigned the responsibility of websites maintenance, intranet development and database administration.

Letter 3:

I would like to inform that the company ABC S/A is no longer in operation, therefore was not possible to obtain a letter of reference for myself, Mr. XYZ. However, it is possible to prove my employment by the attached certificates of internship, issued by the responsible institution ABC (Center of Integration Company School).

Nevertheless I, XYZ, hereby certify that I have worked at ABC S/A during eleven months having performed the role of Programmer. I have worked in this company from August 2003 to May 2004 and was assigned me the responsibility of Websites Maintenance and Systems Development.

The problem is that I'm not sure if my job duties are detailed enough in the reference letters. So I was wondering if CIC accepts new reference letters once my package got there on May 17 and it wasn't processed yet.

I have looked at all manuals and instructions and haven't found anything stating that CIC doesn't accept new/replacement docs once the packed got there.

Any ideas? Is it worth send the docs and ask to attach in my original application?

CIC statistics guy was killed in an accident about 3 weeks ago.
This story was all over the TV news and newspapers.

There were some rumors that it wasn't an ordinary accident...
