800 PPR per week or 3200 PPR per month for FSW people. This is not even remotely enough to clear the 49.751 backlog in a timely manner. It will take 15.5 months to clear it if they continue at this speed.
Not that I'm optimistic about these numbers, but keep in mind this time period included the holidays. So presumably there were quite a few days not worked by officers during that time - and their daily rate would be faster at any other period during the year.

at current speed 800 applications per week makes it 3200 per month. Assuming 2.3 person per application according to ircc data , we have 21.6k applications for FSW waiting (49,751 people/2.3)
So all of them will be processed in next six months by august as per current trend. and hoping no more cec draws happen

What can I say? It's beyond human comprehension  .
I can understand differences between streams like if you say FSW is slower than PNP on average, cool, yeah it could be. I can understand differences between AORs by year, like if you say 2020 PNP AORs are slower than 2021 PNP AORs on average, okay yeah maybe. I can never understand how there can be a few months between two PNP AORs but 6+ months between their PPRs. No logic whatsoever.

15.5 months if no draws are conducted and the focus didn't shift to other (EE TR2PR) streams, which I believe isn't a realistic scenario. The only way to overcome this for IRCC is to employ hundreds of new officers and build a system that does autoMEP, autoBIL and autoCriminality in seconds. Only eligibility and security should be manually carried out by a human officer.
15.5 months if no draws are conducted and the focus didn't shift to other programs. Yes, that's right.

I'm one of the first MUFFINS man. I have been through harder times in 2020 and 2021. This news, could still be considered good news by my standarts.

Honestly, I had plans for my future and my career and everything in the past, before I joined the FSW army, but now.. This FSW war is all I know man. I don't know what I'll do if by chance they issue my PPR at some point. I may refuse it and apply for FSW again.

This doesn't seem right. I think the CIC News article confuses between persons and applications.

Damn yeah... It's been so many years deciding to go, learning what to do, building up enough CRS, paperwork, blah blah, I don't even remember now. All I know is I need to be in this forever because this is all I know.

They are focusing on PNP.

None at all bro. If I were to guess, I would say perhaps COR has an impact, but even that makes no sense cos PNPs are mostly processed at CIO as primary office.
Oh well, IRCC yet exhibiting their best traits - insanity.

can someone direct me for a Canadavisa Forum link related to my case.
I received AOR in January 2022. I applied in November 2021 and did upfront medical. I applied under EE-Provincial nominee outland applicant.
I want to see other people who are in the same timeline as mine.
