Which lawyer did you speak to ? How much money did they quote? Can you please share?Hey guys, I don't post on here often. But for those who are impatient like me (Nov 2019 AOR) without any updates on their profile (my last update was in June 2021 when I did remed) mandamus is perhaps a good option.
I decided I'd try a writ of mandamus in February, reached out to a lawyer on 28 Feb, then had some emails back and forth to discuss price and payment etc.
First online meeting scheduled with lawyer 4 March.
Mandamus filed 7 March.
Received Notice of Appearance from federal court where it said in the document "The Respondent, the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, intends to respond to this application for leave" on 17 March.
Received PPR 18 March
Wow, this is astonishingly long, thanks for the response. They are flooded with web forms so it might be longer than 30 days, this is what they have told me over the phone.
May I know your COR ?I received my second ADR one week ago- an updated PCC request, which I uploaded yesterday. My first ADR was related to Proof of funds and I submitted this on Feb 9th. I was wondering if anyone is in a similar position, and is it possible that I will get a PPR soon? My VO is Montreal.
That sounds quite off. May be you can report the error on the page. There's usually a button near the bottom of the page where you report technical errors.Hmm .. it doesn't say anything.. except Schedule A in one while the other is blank
Also, I have received 5 ADR requests. When I login, I see 2 placeholders to upload docs while other times I see 4. Guessing this a glitch?
That website always has these glitches. My best advice is that as soon as you see all the placeholders, upload a dummy document on each one. That way, you will always see them when you log on, and you'll be able to upload the correct documents when you have them.Hmm .. it doesn't say anything.. except Schedule A in one while the other is blank

I'm in Mumbai, got my second pcc today.Folks in India, quick question for you. Have an appointment to submit the documents for the Indian PCC on April 21st. Would we get the PCC the same day or how does the PCC process happen in India?
Yes. Have an appointment in Chennai. Going thru Passport Seva only. Hopefully, it's the same procedure. It's for my future spouse. Just gathering upfront docs ready.I'm in Mumbai, got my second pcc today.
Went to the passport office for the first one in 2020. Received the PCC a few days (about a week, but I forget exactly how long) after everything was approved.
This time, I applied on https://pcs.mahaonline.gov.in/Forms/Home.aspx Turns out you still have to go to the local police station and submit everything physically BUT I had the pcc in my hands within 3 hours. The Police in my area are awesome though...not sure if this is the standard procedure everywhere. Check in your area, I highly recommend this over the passport office route.
Deep down he is very angry and jealous.Even @ImpatientKangaroo stopped crapping on Canada since he got his PPR. The only thing he's mad about now is that I officially became a confirmed PR before him .

With regards the ADR for additional supporting documents from your previous employer, be very diligent with this (especially if you are claiming points for it). Get as many proof as you can to show without any doubt that you performed the duties you said you did. An ADR for work experience proof is one of the toughest to overcome. Do all you can not to blow this 2nd chance that IRCC is giving you.
What further queries do you have? Thanks guys.
I raised a webform too but if they are gonna take a long time to respond to the queries, I might miss the 30 day window. Is there an email address that I can reach out to or best to upload any queries in the document placeholder itself?
