^ Most of this still holds up. A change in scenery would also be nice (been in Texas 15+ years) + the ability to save in C$ and invest in the TSX. Canada and Russia are also less likely to face a scarcity in fresh water in the coming decades.

Canada is great for those who have built wealth and have families, so called owner/investor class. For poor single young fellas like me, it sucks

When you think you are in a safe country and then Russia threatens one of them and just right after the news broke out you see gripens heading east above your head in an area where residents never see gripens. Priceless.. what more can come?:D I left Eastern Europe and this is what happens..?:(
