My understanding based on everything I've seen is that there is a brief second eligibility review done at the visa office. Stupid, I know - but I think this is that they double-check to make sure CIO have not made any mistakes.

If you check the current ECAS status list, even for post-June-26 applicants it does say there is a status "Visa office eligibility review complete". But since an application would go straight to "In Process" I think this is only used if an applicant fails the 2nd eligibility review.

CIO's job is to eliminate the largest percent of applicants who are not eligible. I guess visa office's job is to fine-tune what's left.

So, I think if your application says "In process" but you have the "decision made" line on the detail - then IMO you have not failed the visa office eligibility review. More likely that there is either an error, or your case is rejected based on something in the background checks (educational and employment verification etc).

Alas until you hear from visa office all we can do is "best guess" at this stage.

Nais mo ang pinakamahusay na ng kapalaran! :)

Wayne.

I cannot believe it,wow..You are here on the PostJune Manila thread! Anyway,We value your thoughts and opinions. Thanks!

Guys, I know this is out of topic ha, pero siguro isama na rin natin sa mga prayers natin yung mga bibitayin sa CHINA na mga kababayan natin. I know, hindi naman natin alam talaga mga circumstances nila kung talaga bang guilty sila or hindi kaso matigas talaga sa batas ang China kaya yun. Kaya siguro talagang dapat talagang walang death penalty dito sa atin, dahil no way naman talaga (dito sa atin ha) na mapoprove mo na guilty talaga yung tao.

Halos pareho pla plan natin, yung husband ko non-accompanying sya. pero after mareceiv namin medical request gusto ko na syang accompanying parent. so nagsubmit ako ng affidavit/declaration ng accompanying parent na sya. after 1 week, VO called me up and asked some questions why the change of decision. sinabi ko ang totoo na our first priority is family and my kids need a father especially during their adjustment in canada. grabe ang kaba ko while talking to the VO. inaapprove naman ng VO right there and then pero ang dami daming questions about marital problems. VO asked for clarifications and was confirming that we are not separated. Hindi kami separated of course. kaya if i were you magdecide ka na na isama mo kasi katakot takot na tanong nila at justification ang gagawin mo. Congrats!

Hi psychnars,

Mabuti na basa ko yon opinion mo.Thanks for the heads up,may MR ka na ba?

Guys! The long wait is finally over and done with. Today after exactly 2 weeks of receiving my 2nd AOR, I got a letter from snail mail from the designated immigration officer, Mr. J. Tan-Go. The letter basically had something to do with his JD (job description) and yes he is not satisfied thus application was refused.

It isnt a glitch from the ecas, as I hope it would be. :( :(

Do you have any idea how long it takes for them to return our application and re-apply again?

if i may ask zakoy!!! my agency kaba??? what seems to be wrong kaya with your JD...anong basehan ng CEM for this?pasado sa CIO tpos sa kanila pag nde nila type idedeny!!!anong laban natin??? :(

Within ten years preceding the date of his application for PR visa, wala daw evidence of continuous full-time employment of 1 year experience..More or less nagka problema talaga sa JD.
Sabi ng agenct ko, pag pinoy daw nag ha-handle ng case, medyo strict daw...

Will they return ba the money I paid? :-[

Sana, nagsabi yon agent ninyo na gaano ka halaga yon current employment sa NOC na in-applyan.Anyway,at least ang pinakamahaga, may chance pa kayo magre apply or reappeal.

Napasad news tlga ito,our prayers are with you..Not until hindi tayo makatanggap at makaland sa Canada,we are not safe for the refusal.

Tanong kulang, sino ang naggawa ng JD?

i agree sa napansin mo na daming di naka receive ng PER for 3rd/4th week of december applicants, kasama ko dun sa 3rd na NER, baka dami kasing pressures sa officer na keber or bad mood at sa papel natin nabunton...ako i think this will be my last hurrah...if wala pa rin, say goodbye na muna ko sa kakaapply...iniisip ko kasi lagi ang kasabihan: bloom where u are planted kaya kahit ilang NER pa ko, go pa rin ;D pero xmpre me hangganan ang lahat kaya i made up my decision na last na to...dito na lang ako mag full bloom hahaha coz its where i was planted?

kakatuwa & i'm inspired w/ your SPIRIT...go...go ...go!!! ;D

Hi kimwayne,

Still no change, RBVO pa rin. Sana dumating pa rin MR kahit kulang pa docs natin. How did you get NSO copy of birth certificate? last week of April pa kasi yung release ng birth cert ng baby ko..

I asked the Local Civil Registrar to expedite the birth certificate, ang problema ko yon passport kay April 20 marelease.I was given only 1 month to pass all the requirements,of course, except the passport.I already complied the said requirements last week.
