i read it somewhere sa website ng cic na upon landing to Canada, dapat not more then 10k canadian dollars ang dala mo na cash, i can't remember the reason why.. tapos dapat may mga documents ka na yung required proof of funds mo transferrable to Canada anytime yun ipepresent mo sa immigration officer.. dun yata sa "before you arrive" na link sa cic website ko nabasa un..

yup that's true. law sa atin yun that you cannot bring more than 10k in cash when you go out of the country. para yan sa anti money-laundering policy. kaya dapat meron tayo other instrument as proof when we get in canada.

if hindi maging over 130/90 bp, sa urinalysis (protein- + ) din daw makikita if may hypertension na untreated at in case may ipepresent kayo na previous medical records, make sure na hindi nakaindicate yung medical condition na yon at pati yung amlo or olol na meds nya if meron.

thank you.. my husband is hypertensive.. kaya im thinking the possible additional test if ever or would it be better kung di nya na lang ideclare basta we make sure na upon physical exam not greater that 130/90 blood pressure nya..

I suggest declare ninyo na lang, lalo na kung may iniinom na gamot. Kasi may questionaire din kayong pi-fill-upan eh. May kasabay kami nung April 2 na pina repeat BP kasi sobrang taas daw, pinagpahinga muna siya sa waiting area nung doctor.

Ako mataas din nung una ang BP ko tapos inulit nung doctor. Buti bumaba, nasabi tuloy nung doctor kinakabahan ka ba? ;D
Naka hinga lang ako ng maluwag ng pirmahan niya yung checklist ko, kasi sinabi niya OK naman lahat. ;D

But sa huli it's your decision pa rin kung declare niyo or hindi yung hypertension ni mister.

Hindi ako hypertensive and walang additional test na ginawa sa akin. Basta inulit lang yung BP ko tapos sabi ng doctor "Bumaba daw ang BP ko" sabay sabi kung kinakabahan ako....

Nung pirmahan lang niya yung checklist at sabihin niyang OK naman lahat, tsaka lang ako na relax...

thanks.. my husband is taking amlodipine and imidapril.. controlled yung blood pressure nya kapag di ko sinasabe na less than 130/90 blood pressure nya.. kapag kasi nalaman nya na normal na bp nya pumapalya sa inom ng gamot.. but lately natuto na sya magtake ng blood pressure on his own kaya di ko na mabola.. siguro before the medical pacheck ko na muna urine, crea, ang ecg nya.. last year everything is normal and im praying na normal pa din until now para wala na ko worries ideclare man o hindi..

same here. hindi pa rin kami makapaglog sa ecas. si danz nga sobrang kinakabahan na. i told him relax, chill... baka they are still checking the documents.

maiba ako, kahit wala pa kmi MR may tanong ako eh. regarding sa mga kids, kasi yung bunso namin hindi pa masyado marunong magsalita and he's turning 3 this may. nagpacheck ako sa developmental pediatrician and she told me delayed speech development nya. we were required to get him a speech therapist. will that matter?

also, may lahi kasi kaming diabetic. and nagkaron ako ng gestational diabetes with our second baby, will that matter? ngayon naman annually nagpapablood check ako and lagi naman ako within normal range. will i be asked to have additional test?

hi, pareho pala tayo ng ugali ng hubby hehe. sa april 11 kami nakasched for medical. hypertensive at diabetic hubby ko. pina-creatinine, ecg, fbs, urinalysis, lipid profile ko na hubby ko today sa hospital. bukas hopefully malaman namin results at consultation nya sa medical doctor nya. ask din kami ng medical certificate indicating diagnosis at treatment para ipresent namin sa DMP of our choice. for sure mag-additional test ang hubby ko pero at least alam na namin kasi nauna na kaming nagpatest. buti na lang may healthcard kami at nashoulder lahat ng tests. thank God!

im praying na sana kapag nakapaglog na uli tayo sa ecas good news yung makikita natin..

based sa mga nababasa kong post, as long as may certification ka sa mga specialist about cetain medical or developemental conditions ok lang..

like sa 3 year old mo, i think its better na makita sya ng therapist para meron kayong ipepresent on the time of your medicals na certicate of assessment and current therapy being done to him.

sa diabetes mo, its your decision kung idedeclare mo or hindi.. pwede mo hindi ideclare if you're sure na walang makikitang negative results sa medical exam mo like high blood pressure or protein or sugar in the urine.. on the otherhand you'll be asked to have additionaL test if you declare it.. so its your decision talaga..

they only require additional tests kapag may dineclare ka sa present medical condition or may nakita silang abnormal sa medicals mo..

hello.. sana lahat ng blood tests nya normal para wala na kayo worries sa medicals nyo.. you can include ECG sa check-up ni hubby mo para sigurado.. c apothecary nakapagpamedical na sya, she delared her hypertension so she was required to have an ECG and creatinine determination as additional tests.. balitaan mo ko about your medicals ha? goodluck and god bless!! :-*
