Got the 2nd line update in eCAS today

Now feeling a bit relaxed.... :-* :-*

Wow...great news....
I also got the second line updated , though i don't know when it has been updated. I loged in after a month and found it has been updated
it seems to be we really at the same boat!!!

The lines are:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 15, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on January 27, 2015.

Not only SGVO brother checked other topics, applicants of all others VOs got 2nd line update. So we can say the ecas update operator wake up from sleep and start data entry

Or... may be like that particular scene of "Bruce Almighty" movie where Jim Carry pressed ctrl + A and replied "Yes" to all the prayers and queries !

It feels same, head operator woke up and pressed "SLU" and all of us got 2nd line update ! :-\ :-X

According to time frame of SGVO, almost all files till December are reviewed.
To review any file SGVO takes 3 months(max) after AOR.
In that sense they have completed to review all FSW14 files. However, they already notified some of the applicants in the mean time before this drastic change in ECAS. So, we can say that all of the applicants who got change in ECAS at least passed the Eligibility.

Now, its time to get MR. But when Criminality and Security be passed MR would be issued. So, it depends on time. Someone would get it early or someone would be later. It is obvious that today or tomorrow everyone would get the MR InshaAllah. Now, its time to see what is going to happen next.

Pray for each other is the best way to win the situation

Almighty Allah(SWT) knows everything and knows best. May Allah help us and fulfill our dream.

I also got second line update in eCAS. May be it has been updated today or within this week. But I didn't receive any mail from them.
Did you receive any email?
Is it okay that Second line is updated without any medical or document request?
By the way, I am 19 Jun 2014 application under NOC 2171.

You wont get any notification for 2nd line.
They will mail you for Medical Request or any document(if required).

Just wait with patience and pray to get good news early.

Today is the first anniversary of my FSWP application. I am waiting for pps to return from SGVO since August 3.

Why you are thinking so, I dont know. But I am thinking it in positive way.

Behind my positive thinking, I just calculate the probabilities which is mainly depends on applicants data and previous history.

In August, SGVO didn't provide significant number of MR. Generally, they provide PPR and MR alternatively. Whether they provide significant number of MR in a month or PPR.

As we can see some of November applicants already got updates before this changes in ECAS recently, we can assume that almost all files they have completed or going to be completed the review. So, drastic change in ECAS might be happened.

Actually, problem is that we are habituated to see the Slow SGVO and not familiar with their faster movement. Thats why we can not believe what is happening now.

But things should be happened like that from the beginning because their Govt. is committed to complete it within a year.

I hope we will get good news soon InshaAllah. At least all are now feeling relaxed to see this little update and made more optimistic.

Hello everyone.... I am in big dilemma. We received passport request 2 days back from CIC. However, I am currently in singapore and family is back in Abu Dhabi. I need to be here for the next 2 months at least. Also as my wife was pregnant we got her medicals done in mid-august but my medicals were done last year in dec when we got the first medical request.

I don't know what to do....as I can't send my passport from singapore for stamping and be her without a passport and I don't want to delay the process as the medical expiry is worrying me.

Is it possible that CIC will ask for another medical at the time of stamping. Also can I get my passport stamped in Singapore while my family does it in Abu Dhabi. Pls advice.

NO, the possibility is almost zero. They would not ask Medical again if there was no problem in your previous Medical report. You should send a CSE mentioning the main reason. Hope they will give you feedback.

For all those who have had SLU updated recently, here is the ray of hope. I got MR today. Timeline below:

Brothers I was just going through the Pakistani Applicants forum and have found number of people whom have got 2nd line update very very recently have also got MR within very short time and very recently. An example is attached. Although they are from London VO but they are also experiencing similar 2nd Line rain fall. I also have seen people whom have got 2nd line update on 1st week also have got MR very recently.

So fingers crossed and lets see how it goes. Allah Vorosha....

Let us be optimistic. As rumel bhai and mustaeem bhai said, we are not familiar with such drive of SGVO because of their slow progress in the region. From various discussions, interpretations on the reasons behind this recent change it is seen that there is, of course, a change in nature of Ecas update method as well as they want to get rid of backlog through fastening processing. Other reasons are... they want to concentrate on Express Entry from the beginning of 2016 and just 04 months more to go in the current year (this is on the basis of perceptions of applicants, consultants). After all I would say lets pray, today is Friday, JUMA BAR.

as it became a habit in last few months to check ecas app, i did it once again few min back and surprised to see that my 4 lines status changed to nine lines and surely it happened between yesterday evening and today afternoon...

It seems to me that the new status update format in ecas is applicable for everyone who applied under fsw14...

Your ecas seems in new format.Generally Ecas consist of 4 lines ) 1st line refers to the application receive date, 2nd line refers to Application processing start date, 3rd line refers to Medical result received date & 4th line refers to Decision made which comes before or after PPR..

So nothing to worry with your ecas..Hopefully u will get 2/3 more lines to finalize ur application
