My PP reached in SGVO on 3oth January[Vsf status]. But no Visa yet. 35 days gone. Does any via office have the right to keep someone's passport as long as they wish ? Its an important identity. I might have other urgent travel/purpose.

They should have cleared all formalities before asking for passport.

Bro, Usually visa issues within 30 days for any passport by CHC. But total days calculation can vary on transfer documents between VFS and SGVO. Hope you will receive your passport very soon.

Hi Everyone,

I was talking to v_i_r_u_s bhai and came to know that SGVO had sent him instructions on how to pay RPRF online! I think this alone is quite a relief for Bangladeshi applicants. As you know, currently, one needs to carry with him/her a thick set of supporting documents to the Standard Chartered bank in order to have a DD issued for RPRF. The list is not short and Standard Chartered is quite picky on each item in the list.

If SGVO now starts allowing all Bangladeshi applicants to pay RPRF online, our lives will be much easier. That is because all one has to do is go online and use a credit card.

I hope they allow all of us to pay RPRF online, from now on. I wish everyone all the best.

Looks like SGVO is queue jumping just like NDVO did few weeks ago.

August applicants are seeing 2nd line updates while July applicants are waiting.

This is surely abuse of power, completely ignoring FIFO policy for processing.

And they do all that to bring down processing times. So misleading.

Bhaiya,

My suggestion would be to use SCB bank draft for RPRF to avoid delay or any incident by on-line payment from BD int'l credit card.

As I know most of the international credit card allows only US$100 per payment/transaction from online payment as per BB circulation on May 2013. Otherwise applicant needs to submit supporting documents to the back for more than US$100 transaction and bank needs to endorse in the passport against the TQ.

Bro, my assumption is SGVO is working on 8~9 months duration of file processing. If any applicant has dispute on their documents then it is making delay processing and asking to further requirements. Otherwise you can see SGVO already issued some visa on May & June applicants. Also it could delay process by co-applicant/dependent(s) file....

GCMS note is at least a month old when you receive it. So the processes may have started by now. Be hopeful sister.

Thanks brother, May applicant 10th moths ongoing. What they will do in one month?
Allah knows better. May be he has some other plans. :'(

Yes brother now SGVO is working on Aug'14 files and it is simple understanding that if any files has dispute SGVO is asking on those application for further documents and this is called Documents background check.

I could have agreed with you, but the fact is entire July batch is waiting, it cant be that all July applicants have errors or deficiencies in their files.

ABC I think SGVO have lost the key of the drawers where they have kept July files. They have gone to search key makers.
