Does any one know if VO asks for proof of funds after getting AOR, can someone submit bank/govt certificates rather than bank statement

Thanks

Bank certificate is ok. If after AOR and when the VO started with application they might ask for additional documents like bank statement for certain period or updated docs related to POF. If you have the money than it will not be a problem.

Relax bro......Your answer is Yes. 3 applicants were asked to provide POF again. The similarity between them were their a/c was new like 2/4 months old but a large amount of cash was deposited. May be that's why they wanted POF again. It actually depends on Visa officer. If the assigned visa officer for you thinks that he needs the POF again he may then contact with you. Read the below link specially middle and last part. You'll have all your answers there.

Did TAMDHK get initial review completed? You mentioned someone from 25 July got some mail from VO?

Ifthi.

No Mav it's not TAMDHK. It was another applicant. I talked with her in FB. She is not in the forum or SS.

It doesn't require to inform them as it has no meaning to them until you travel to USA. :) :) :)

Yes.....SGVO is doing the initial review faster then i thought. Today one July 25 applicant reported that she received a letter from SGVO yesterday regarding her POF. They gave her 30 days time to prove. Her a/c was only 4 months old at the time of applying. So may be that's the reason. The main thing is she is a July 25 applicant. So it means for me/us who are before that, initial review has been done. Now the main processing will start. So lets see what happens.

Hi Raisa/Century bhai (if you are still here)/Aashif-God-of-CanadaVisa Forum,

Question: After AOR, is there another initial review that happens before 2nd Line Update? If yes, what is done during that time? Any idea how much time it takes from the initial review to second line update?

I hope my question doesnt annoy anyone here.

Regards,
Rick

Refusal of Application: Just Reminding

Applicants can be refused at anytime during the process of the application, for any of the following reasons:

- Proof of language skills
- Criminal Issues (have a criminal record in any country)
- Security (failed background checks)
- Medical (failed medical exam)
- financial reasons (have less then the minimum settlement funds)
- misrepresentation (failed to be truthful during the application or omitted information)
- non-compliance (failed to provide any requested information/documents the immigration officer requested or failed to attend a Personal Selection Interview)
- inadmissible family members (the above reasons for any family member indicated as a dependent on the application form)

Yes mav.....it does take place after AOR......And this has been confirmed by several applicant's incident. There are applicants who were requested to submit additional docs or were given 30 days time to prove their ground that SGVO is not satisfied of. Their 2nd line wasn't updated as their review hasn't been done yet. So it's a clear proof that after AOR VO reviews everything and see your PER mail. In there they mentioned that VO will review and will give the final verdict regarding PR. So VO is the final frontier. And you can see a July 25 applicant reported about receiving a mail from SGVO. So that means before her other applicant's file also been reviewed. Though we can't say it's done and final. But atleast we can hope that it's done. So pray for each other brother.

Understand. I didnt send the PCC as Singapore/Taiwan/Hong Kong/India all need some proof that CIC has requested the Police Clearance. But I have not received any mail from them regarding the PCC. :'( :'( Plus they mentioned not to send anything until requested by VO so I have not sent now after AOR. Any advise? I am praying for all of us Sister. Farhan, our brother from Calcutta is also praying for all of us :)

There is no progress in IT NOCs except 2171 and 2281..

True, there is no progress of 0111 as well, they look like working as per NOC priority
