Anyone has experience for delay in Police Certificate submission.

I got Medical Request together with Request for 3 Police Certificates from where I used to live more than 6 months. The deadline is 14 January, but until now, I just collected 2 of them, the rest one will be submitted after the deadline. Should I be in risk of being refused.

My ecas show the Medical Assessments have been received and I already paid the RPRF.

Thanks in advance for your sharing experience.
kindly go ahead and submit the two you have and write a letter stating that the last will not be ready at the given dates. Also request for an extension, the VO will grant your request.

Please read the instruction from VO carefully, at the first sentence of last paragraph mentioned,

'If you unable to comply one or more of our requests, please provide a detailed explanation.'

Dear Bros and Sisters

I have an important situation. After landing in Canada for 1st time, can I leave Canada without bringing my calid a PR card?
I heard the PR card will take few months to get mailed at a Canada address.

There are few important issues i will need to take care at least until Sep 2017. Meanwhile I already set my Medex (medical exam) on 30 Dec 2015 so it means that theoretically my entey visa shall be given and valid til 30 Dec 2016 (a year from the Medex performed).

Then by the time the PR card arrives at the address, my friend is able to mail it to Spore then i will be able to get it.

Q: can i enter Canada again? Will my action raise any yellow flag or suspicious from immigration authority?

Thanks

You can use your friend/relatives address in Canada to have your PR cards sent there. And they can send it to you later on. No problem with this.

bro DesertFox
Arent we supposed to exit a Canadian airport through their immigration check-out counter and has the PR card marked?
If no PR card or no entry landing card, will immigration officers suspect we overstay in Canada?

Thanks

Hi bro, marked means barcode scanned. Something like that.

Some say leaving Canada will undergo airline security check not immigration check.

I am not certain, but I don't think PR card holders are required to produce their card at the time of leaving Canada. The duration of your stay is calculated from records in your passport.

Its not a problem. You can exit with your PP. But you never enter without PR card after exit. Otherwise, you have to take permission of landing from the High commission of your country explaining the cause which is also complex scenario.

So, better to stay 2 months at least to collect the PR card.

Temporary Travel Pass can be obtained @50 CAD from Visa Office. This is applicable for permanent residents wiyhout a pr card.

However, as Rumel Bhai said, it is always better to stay in Canada until you get pr card

Thank you everyone for the warm wishes. :) :)
I will continue be active on the forum as I prepare to move in June 2016.
I have decided not to take my family with me in the beginning. In my 14-15 years of career I have moved places a lot due to jobs and its my personal experience that you are better of alone in first few months.

We are given Sep 30, 2016 as last landing date. I am planning to move alone in June or July. Focus will be to find a better job rather than a odd job, regardless of the location. By Gods grace as and when that happens I would want to find a rented accommodation at that location and complete the initial household setup. Only then, i will call my family. This would hopefully give me enough of liberty to travel anywhere in Canada in search of a better job. Moreover, I feel its easier to manage expenses for a single person.

Offcourse, each individual will have personal situations and priories do differ. So some of us may want to kick start the new innings with family.

All the very best to everyone. God Bless us all !!!

Boss congrats. I like ur way of setting in canada. But i have some confusion. As u said, ur last date of entry is 30 sep 2016. I think ur family members also got the same deadline. So, don't you think that, if u enter canada in june or july, you will not get enough time to settle everything. Because, regardless of situation, ur family will have to enter canada before 30 sep, 2016. This is my personal filling. There is no way, i am criticizing your decision. Sorry if i hurt you.

Best regards
Debashish

Seeking Expert Opinion:

With our two kids, me and my wife intend to make a short landing in next Summer, probably June would be the best time for that. Afterwards, we will in sha allah move to Canada sometime in 2017 for stay.

Now, I have two questions regarding our first time short landing:

(1) As this will be a short landing, say for a week only, do I need to take the same amount of CAD that I have shown during application process for four of my family members??

(2) Can I take my bank certificate regarding the fund where equivalent CAD will also be shown by bank authority? As I am not moving for good in 2016, I dont want to cash all instruments.

Any help is much appreciated.
