Thanks for sharing ashif bhai...So far it seems Physical verification is happening for the applicants whose 2nd line updated during October 2014

Just for ur Alert-Regarding Job verification:

Day before Yesterday, one of FSW13 SGVO applicant whom ECAS was updated to second line on Oct 14-- One Canadian guy and one BD guy called him to search the location of his office...he is an employee of Huawei BD, Uday Tower, Gulshan 1, Dhaka.

Later on they visited his office....verified that if he really works for Huawei or not.....Asked abt the job duties....It seems they were satisfied and told him they will send further communication shortly.....

So on recent times 4-5 news came up for whom physical verification has done (SGVO applicants FSW13,14)

Yesterday 2 people from CHC (1 BD and 1 Canadian) visited his workplace which was a sweater factory.. he was outside and came after their call...after visit they assured him about MR within 2 weeks...

I dont think u need to send any query for this...If u see u have already 67 points then no need of this...

Also if any issue is raised regarding point shortage of 67 then they willl send u email....

It is really concerning for me If they calculate less experience.

My calculated points is 68. If they cut down my experience point it will be 66. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I have no clue on whats happening in my case. Even the 3rd line is not updated as of today.

Since its been a month now after submitting the PP is it worth sending an email now to SGVO for checking the status??
Feeling very frustrated and scared. I know one or 2 more applicants have a similar situation. I was told that there may be some background verification going on.

Does anyone have any information?

Just received GCMS- generation date 2015-1-2 (same day i applied through GCMSfiles.com !!!!!)

1. Security/eligibility/medical/selection -- not started :-(
2. Note (2014-11-07): recent employment reference from XXX dated YYY is a photo copy and the job duties are wide ranging and as such they lack credibility. Verification of job duties recommended to determine if they meet the requirements.

Below are some examples of lines found in GCMS notes of applicants who reported to have been visited/contacted by CHC for job verification purposes.

1. "Selection passed at face values of documents provided. Verification pending."
2. "Verification of job duties recommended."

So, I advise those who have their GCMS notes in hand, to read carefully the Notes section and look for lines that sound similar to examples above. If you see some, those are your clues that you are surely going to be targeted for verification. Preparation paves the way toward glad tidings, such as "we are satisfied and you will receive your MR in 2 weeks.."

Brother What I have seen from SGVOs trend is they send the email of PF while they think Your mentioned Job Responsibilities does not match with the LEAD Statement of that particular NOC Job Responsibilities...My Colleagues GCMS note had a similar not that SGVO will send email and ask for PF to proof about the Job Responsibilities and in the Event portion of his GCMS note had SITE VISIT...Fortunately or Unfortunately CHC visited our office yesterday to verify both my and my colleagues File

Is there any further office visit by CHC offers reported after Sunday ( virus and two others reported ) ?

By the way, did include your supervisor/HR's business cards along with reference letter?

In my reference letter, HR included all of my responsibilities instead of those only for my NOC. But I was able convince him to format the different roles in Sections, and kept the primary one at the top/starting.

Also attached business cards of the signing person to make way for email/phone verification if necessary.

Not that I am afraid or extra careful, but just wanted to avoid the delay associated with physical verification.


Meanwhile I have signed up for express entry in another NOC from my past experience. If I get ITA, I will try following same strategy.

Lets see what happens in my case.

Congrats to you now that verification is over and was fruitful. I hope you'll reach MR stage in two to three weeks.

Thanks Rick bro... For my case my previous employer is bought by another company around 3 years before, thus the company letter head is different from what is now, as well as the office address has been changed. I feel I should update SGVO regarding this issue, what do you think?

If you have told them you worked at A then it is quite possible for them to check up on A. How does it matter bro? Relax. I also read somewhere on this fourm that there is an agency CSIS or something that checks on people's backgrounds. If positive, all clear, if negative, then it can be an interview or a slight delay of 3 - 4 months (especially if you have traveled a lot). Just take it easy all will be well. There is no reason to panic. You knew there would be a check, surely, when you applied. This is not a new process. Chill!

You should order GCMS notes. It might give you some mental peace. Also if there is any problem with your MR, you can find that from GCMS note.
