whoever is waiting for 2173 , should stop hoping for file id generation. We should start preparing for EE. We did our best and somethings cant be in our control

I guess there is no other way out...the way Cap got filled... rising to 1000 in two weeks, there is no clue what actually happened.. since there is no charging after that and only files returned so we don't have any other option except to conclude that lets hope for something good from EE in the new year!!..and stop thinking about this year...

They did the same for 2171, when I applied it was 375, 2 weeks, it reaches 550, and next week boom 1000!

CIC wil send the application package back by snail mail; no emails will be sent. The returned package will have a letter as to why the application was returned.

Thanks for the info. Approximately after how long CIC reverts? Like I am 09-Sep applicant, what should be ideal time to expect response from CIC?

Hi Friends, good news for September 2171 folks waiting...

In case you missed it, this was posted on the main FSW 2014 thread-

Attention NOC-2171 People

One of my friends who is not on the forum filed his application for NOC-2171.His application was received on 04-September-2014.
Couple of days back he received email from his bank (HDFC) that his DD has been en cashed but the bank has not confirmed DD encashment date. Al tough no PER yet. Will update here if he gets further information.

I am sharing this for the benefit of other guys who are waiting from same NOC .
