Hi

I have one query with regards to sending the docs....

Can I put everything into a file, such as plastic, but I will make sure it is not bound. And then put this into an envelope.

But this will not fit into the envelope size specified by CIC.

is this ok....

Is this possible method for sending CIC application

Cheers

Also one more query

The VO office need to be contacted at which point, please enlighten me.....I am clueless..

Some other forums have commented on this....

But I don't think this applies after April 2014, am I right?

Cheers

Sorry this may be a silly question, but I just want to know others response...

I used a binder clip to hold all the forms and papers together and put it in the specified envelope. seems it was ok with them. :D

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and intend applying under NOC 0112 to Canada. I have applied for ECA clearance through CES and was shocked to find out that the processing time is 15 weeks. Do you think it is also worth applying to WES for their online assessment just to be on the safer side?

Regards
Sandeep

Hi there, I would suggest you do the assessment through WES as i got it within a month. I reckon its the best assessment center with fast response. Hope this helps.
regards.

Hi, for those who got their cc/dd charged or received per, do you mind sharing what job duties and responsibilities you have indicated in your application? Thanks!

Hi there, there is a list of duties and responsibilities issued in the cic website check that to see if it matches with the nature of your job if its got a few matches then you are good to apply.

Hi there, I would suggest you get an envelop which is durable than suing a plastic file, its available everywhere. if you use courier services like DHL, FEDEX they will have pretty strong envelops for documents.

Here is what i did :)

I bought different plastic folders having holes on left corner for filing purpose.. for every form and relevnt docs. i used different folder and marked its details by pasting a stickr on every folder.

In the end put all folders together and joined them by using jam clips.. .. but all this effort was for my personal satisfaction, it is not required by cic.. you can simply put ur documents in sequence and send it.

For envelop size if u r planning similar to what i did u would be needing a big and thick paper envelop.. its no big deal if it is slightly bigger in size than specified.

Good luck :)

First u hv to send ur application to CIO. After tht relax and wait for 4 months for PER. If u dont hear from them in tht time thn u can contact them.

The deadline is 31st dec or 30th april thts still under debate in different forums therefor it is suggested to make sure tht ur application reach CIO b4 31st dec. 14.

I just filled out the Fee Payment Form. I did not photocopy the credit card. So far, CC has been charged.
