Do you have any recommended medical center for health check-up in Beijing which is good for foreigners. The medical check up fee is a high here. Do you have any experience how long it may take to receive PR visa after medical from HK VO. I received medical exam request on 13.1.2016. I am supposed to leave Beijing in the first week of May, 2016.

YES HERE IN CHINA FEES FOR ADULT IS 1700 RMB WHILE FOR CHILD IS 800 RMB WHILE IN INDIA ITS JUST 400 AND 150 RMB RESPECTIVELY.

FOR MEDICALS YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE PANEL PHYSICIAN RECOMMENDED BY CIC ONLY.

Beijing SOS International Hospital. It takes around 2 hours for med-check up.

Hello! I have done medical on 6/2/2016 at SOS international clinic, Beijing. However, I have not yet received any information from HK VO. I have checked my E-cas status today also. Any idea how long it may take.

it is very possible that there will be some delays due to holidays, but i dont think you should worry. there were examples in the past where ECAS would not be updated for more than a month. i was quite surprised to receive the update considering holidays are still ongoing.

Just now I checked online status and it has been updated fourth line as " Medical results have been received". I did my medical on 6th of this month. For applicants like us under HK VO, how long it may take to receive PPR from now. Any comments and projections are appreciated.

No one knows really. Timing has varied for HKVO drastically from one case to another. I think there were cases where PPR comes a week after medical and then there were cases where people waited for 5 months before they got the update.

Thanks Kanadjani. Yes, the time varies substantially and there is no thumb rule that after medical PPR should come within a difinite time frame. Anyway, lets hope for the best. I just want to know the time limit of PR visa expiration. Is it one year since Medical or it also depends on VO? Your comments are highly appreciated. Those who has got PR Visa from HK VO can also share their PR visa expiration time limit.

Thank you guys for all your help. Gonna send my family's passports to Ottawa till the end of the week and hope for them to come back as soon as possible. What a year!

I am also waiting for PPR as my medical results have been received by CIC. Now at this stage, is there still a chance that HKVO may ask for further documents. Off course, I have sent all documents they requested and even all the documents I have so far submitted to CIC and MPNP (I am a PNP applicant). Generally, how long it may take to receive the golden PPR mail from HK VO after they received medical result. Another thing, currently I am living in Beijing. Is it mandatory to send PP to Ottawa or HK? Or I can request CIC to stamp PR visa here in Beijing,VO. Comments are highly appreciated.
