Quick question, are you planning on sending your documents on Dec 23rd? and where are you from? Try and see if you can get your application out as early as possible as its a grey area as to whether applications would be received by CIC once Christmas vacations start.

Submitted our application last friday, 19th Dec.
Still on the way to CIC thru DHL.
Hope we still have a chance.
NOC: 2133

Sent ours out on the 17th via UPS....expected to arrive at Sydney NS tomorrow. Sitting with fingers and toes crossed lol

I had apllied under noc 1112 bt my file got returned as cap reached.
Can i apply under 0111 just now?
Will i fall within the cap?
And which is the last date to apply for fsw?

Please reply as early as possible.

My application received at CIC sydney, Novascotia today on December 08, 2014. I did apply for NOC 1111. The cap reaches at 450 as on November 26, 2014. Am I likely going to make the cap?

Brother we Both are in same boat my application was received on 1 dec under NOC 1111 at that time this cap was very safe 450 , but I am shocked to see the latest update on CIC website 554 + 377 = 931 its very tight for us

As per current trend, it takes 3 months to hear from CIC

But people applied in December are hoping to hear back in 2 months, due to less number of applications received in november/december.

But you never know, the actual count of applications received by CIC

Yes, its possible that CIC have received more applications in Nov, Dec.

Then we also have to wait 3 months for cc charge

Good for you as your NOC2172 may not reach the cap soon.
Mine is now nearing the 1000 cap.

The number of applications we have counted into the cap: 519
Pending applications (Complete applications waiting for MI Acceptance Review): 258

Hope we still have a chance.
