My September applicant friend received her PPR email not sure yesterday or today.

I am back here. Still waiting for MR.
My details are:
QSW applicant transferred to the CPC Ottawa
Application for permanent residence received on June 09, 2015.
Correspondence acknowledgement of receipt received on Sept 01, 2015
Processing of application started on Sept 01, 2015
RCMP Request received on November 09 (sent within a week)

1.- How long do you think will take me to receive MR?

2.- My problem is that I am here with a Multi entry visitor visa, but the current 6 month period leave to stay is soon due and I am not allowed to stay longer than that. Do you think there is any possibility they will grant me an extension of my leave to stay over this 6 month period, considering that I am waiting for my PR application being processed? I heard a lot about rejections of visa extension request, so I am not sure whether it is a smart move to make.

Please guys, Diplomatru & all other members, I will very much appreciate your comments and advise.

Last year they would do one batch on the third week of each month. The general rule is that you should not expect news on Mondays and Fridays. That's all I can tell for sure.

You are better off asking that to the QSW thread as you can compare ur situation with similar applicants and project when will u receive ur MR.

And no. They won't extend ur stay because ur pr is being processed in ottawa. They only do that if u r on a work visa.

To those who received PPR recently, do they ask the Appendix B form as well? I was just wondering since my friend who already got her visa wasn't asked for this form before.


STEP 3: PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS

You must submit together:
1. One copy of this letter.
2. Passport(s) OR photocopy(ies) of passport(s), as explained in Step 2.
3. Two (2) photos of yourself and of each accompanying family member respecting precise specifications that can be found at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf
4. Completed and signed Appendix B form (enclosed).

Some of the PNP guys received PPR today.
Hopefully it continues next week to clear the backlogs and mainly all categories of 2014 ones so that we(2015) get it soon .

I am a Dec. 24 2015 applicant and I've just found 'Decision Made'!
Because I didn't check the CIC website yesterday, I don't know if I got it yesterday or today.

I am from a visa waiver country (South Korea), so I think that's why I didn't get PPR yet.
I expect COPR will arrive to my mailbox soon.

Congrats Alimo and others who just got decision made
Although I received PPR two days ago, decision made just appeared in my ecas.
