Hi folks ;

I need urgent help on money we take to canada .... @ time of processing I showed 9 lacs however now I have visa but I have used some money and left with 5 lacs so can I land into canada with 5 lacs or do I have to show the exact amount which I have showed as 9 lacs .....Please advice and thanks in advance

you just need the amount they mentioned.. guess 14000 Canadian dollars for couple..

Funds are generally asked from 8 out of 10 people doing their landing so I would advise you to carry the necessary funds with you while doing your landing !!

Congrats...

It all depends on when you intend to marry. if you are getting married before landing and wish to take your spouse with you, you have to let them know. It might delay your process a little bit as they will have to issue his/her visa too (not sure how it works). If you are getting married after you finish landing, then finish landing, get married and then apply for pr for your spouse. All the best

its so damm frustrating with these CPCO guys...they were working all fine throughout the FSW 2014 program but now at the end they are acting so weird handing out SLU and no sign of MR..i don't understand they way they work..earlier they used to hand out MR and SLU came later now SLU have been coming earlier but no signs of MR..i think we guys at the end are a unluck batch..and to top it all the update are only coming on tuesdays now as if rest of the days CPCO is sleeping..!!

I called them today again to ask whether I can contact the specialist doctor myself, as my deadline is very close.
But the lady told me "no matter how many times you call, I have the same answer. You should wait, the doctor is very busy. And I do not think there is a deadline. CIC also needs wait. It is not about your time but the doctor's time". I think my blood pressure is getting higher after calling them
The question is 18 days since ME passed, until I called them, they just told me about this.
I am writing email to CIC now. Do not know why this kind of clinical can be on the list.

Send an email to CIC about this situation and ask for extension. Usually they give 60 days to do medical. So it should be fine.

And print the MR email and visit the clinic. If possible, try to meet the doctor. I am not sure if he (doc) was the same as receptionist.

Be calm and take it easy. You will be fine so don't go crazy over this.

Which part of the brain generates so much arrogance/stupidity/etc....

If nothing works out and if you are losing your patience, try to contact another doctor and see if they can speed up your process and can finish test and submitting in a week or so... I know it will cost you extra money but it is an option
