Looking at the details of 10 of my friends whose files were received in december, I found out the following:

Case Officers
6 files were assigned to DA20220
2 files to RK6165
1 file to SP10734
1 file to GB01592

Status
2 files have already got their visas
1 file has received RFV
3 files have their Medical Results Received
4 files have received their medical requests
the Guy with GB had a long drawn process so may be a senior officer took over his file..
rest i think DA20220 is doing the bulk of the work..there is you, keredek, snayak who have SLU but no MR and then there is me, Slteacher and RS12 without SLU or MR

Tell them that you haven't received RPRF (“Right of Permanent Residence Fee”) request and you would like to pay the fees. Ask them if you should proceed or wait for instructions.

FYI, following were the instructions provided to me to pay RPRF

· Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

· Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

· Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”

· You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant

· You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if you have one

· Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490

· Click “Submit”

· Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card.

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
You must send the receipt to CPC-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca .
Thank you so much for the detailed information. They are very helpful.
Wish you a happy life in Canada ;)

Seems so. DA is handling the bulk :)
As for the GB applicant, he waited for 24 days between SLU & MR.

I don't think you have to wait to send PCC atleast. RPRF I think is only to be sent when requested by them.

Make sure you write 'PCC', application number and UCI number on the package.
Thanks ;)
Yes, I will wait for a few more days. If there is no news by this weekend. Next week I may send the PCC myself and write them to ask about the RPRF thing.

Hi Guys,

I have couple of quick questions:

1. I have got my PR back in May this year and it will expire on Feb 2, 2016. I understand that I have to land in Canada before the PR expires. Is there an option that I can land in Canada for couple of days and come back to USA to wrap up my stuff?

2. I am currently residing in USA and have applied my Canadian PR from here in USA. Does this mean I have to enter Canada from USA and not from any other country? I was thinking to make a trip to back home (Pakistan) and then travel to Canada to fulfill the requirements of landing.

3. And the last question that I have is do i need to do anything between now and the time I land in Canada (probably in Jan. 2016)?

I will appreciate any feedback that you guys can offer.

Thanks

1. You can land in Canada any time between now and Feb 2, 2016. Once you land you will be asked for an address for your PR card to go to so unless you know you can access a secured address in canada i suggest you postpone landing until your final move to Canada. The other thing to keep in mind is that since you are not from a visa exempt country you need to have your PR card to come back to Canada otherwise you have to apply for the travel document (some sort of one time travel to Canada document) which could be a long process. The recommended practice is to do your landing and not leave the country until you have your PR card

A suggestion would be if you have a trusted friend in Canada you can land and provide their address then get them to mail you the PR card

2. You can land from whatever country you want or any boarder crossing

3. You don't need to do anything as of now other than arrange for your landing to take place.

Good luck
