Vinaj, Harrisaini and others I really hope that you get your requests soon. Maybe it has something to do with the Government of Canada e-mails and websites being attacked. They claimed that only a few correspondences sent out were received. Please google this to read about it carefully and then call CIC again.

I am definitely gonna call tomorrow morning and ask them about it ..though I know the answer is gonna be " you are well within the time limit " but still it's worth a shot

I got my COPR & passport today.
Below is timeline for stamping.

sent on 1st june
Received at CPC on 5th
Stamped on 8th
Shipped back on 12th
Received at USA on 18th june.

End of 1st phase.! Good Luck friends ..!

For those peers who are waiting for passport return:

Any of you plan to land right after? I am asking a favour: can you help me to ask the border officer if a new permanent resident's PR card application can be processed by urgent processing?

I will visit China between mid August and late Sep. But I want to land asap rather than waiting for another 3 months after my trip in China. However the CIC website says it takes 72 days to get PR card which means there is 0 chance for me to get my PR card on time....From the layout of the CIC website, it seems as though renewing PR card has the option of urgent processing (takes about 3 weeks for those who have evidence to travel in next 3months), but I am not sure about the initial PR card.....

I really appreciate if anyone could help to ask and tell me the answer.

Wow! Incredibly fast! You and I had same App & PER dates. My MR was one day later than yours. It's great you were able to do the ME the next day. I have an appointment to get mine done tomorrow. I can't believe how fast you got PPR. To think...if I had gotten my ME done sooner I might have been in your same situation now. If I remember right we have the same program assistant too. Congrats! ;D

just had a word with the person he had got his MR last week..this means no MR has been sent out this Week my CPCO..either we will get a flood of MR or its again gonna be a dry week..

Correct me if I am wrong but I think we are missing that we need to see our SLU first before we get the MR mail .once the SLU appears then the MR won't be long. So guys keep checking your ecas until you see the silver line.
