Hello all,
My timelines are as follows:

Application Received by Central Intake Office Sydney, Nova Scotia: Aug 11 2014
Positive Determination of Eligibility to be Processed email from Central Intake Office: November 30 2014
Additional Documents requested by CPC-Ottawa via email: January 21 2015
Additional Supporting Documents emailed and also sent via DHL to CPC-Ottawa: March 11 2015 (email sent with attachments) March 12 2015 (Documents delivered to CPC-Ottawa)

I have not heard back anything since then. Also, when I check my status online I only see one line:

1. Processing (Your application was received on Aug 11 2014)

I have not observed any movement on my case.

Can anyone provide their insights. Should I contact CPC-Ottawa office? Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

Any feedback is much appreciated!

I am not sure how much insurance will cover

For basic physical checkup my insurance charges me copay of 20... This insurance stuff is very confusing.......
Insurance will technically cover your cost depending on if doctor is in your insurance network. But most doctors won't accept payment by insurance for immigration purposes as they don't get full price for their services & will cause delays in sending your information over since most insurances takes 1-2 months to process payments.

Insurance will not cover the expense. Insurance is paid based on medical codes, apparently there is no code that the physician can fill for immigration tests.
However, if you live in the US, you will be able to itemize the cost while filing your taxes.

Correction.

Immigration medical tests do have a code. its called administrative medical(code V70.3)
since it is administrative, most insurance dont cover as it is not part of your health coverage.

I have zero co-pay preventive checkups under my insurance but physician denied to give separate receipt(test wise) but under a code V70.3.
He has listed test wise cost but insurance wont pay me evenif I can use same reports (at least xray/urine/blood) for other purpose.

They required additional documents to assess your eligibility as an officer was not able to reach a selection decision based on the information provided with initial application. If they clear you for further processing, you will receive RPRF, MR and (if applicable) PCC requests. Others' timelines will not give you a clear picture in regards to the prospects of your file, because each case is different. You can try contacting them, but bear in mind that they have a policy of not entertaining status update requests.

do you know what is the time frame???
it normally take between 3 weeks and a month. we know someone who has her passport returned after a month. we don't know if they wait that long to receive the visa from Ottawa or they have their own stamping ways. but anyway it took a month for friends

Hi EGYPT-BOY, Don't worry, you are still within the normal timelines. They usually take around 45 days from Medical Received to send the PPR. But lately this timeline got a bit longer and it might reach 50-60 days.
