Finally got PPR email last night, thanks to all the members here for your support. I pray for others who r waiting to get it soon as well. My theory for when they review is maybe based on medical completed date, since i got it 60 days from my completed done date or could be just coincidence.

This quiery is about the preparation to move to Canada.

I have got enough information regarding the moving vehicle and goods to Canada from my dear forum members.

I want to move to Canada in last week of February.

How can I find accomadation In canada.

are there any forums available to find roommates? Any expat forums for canada?

please suggest your ideas, so that I can make sure my accommadation before I land.

quick question Reddy, when i try to buy the shipping label from US, the ship from address takes only the last name and first name, not a business name, how did u enter cpc-ottawa there? also what values shd i enter in the dimensions field?

i will personally advise you on this, accommodation in Canada is a serious thing and must be dealt with very carefully....the first question is, where do you intend to stay? which province and city? I will advice that your place of stay should be where your profession can easily be practiced....for accommodation, start from this website www.kijiji.ca
make calls to those you find and you must be around in person to view the house and area if you like it.....

For all those who think Ottawa follow a particular pattern when attending to applicants...NO!!....each stage has a SET review date...immediately a visa officer leaves your file, he or she moves onto the next one, he/she sets a review date reminder on the computer that pops up your file when your scheduled date comes....so the visa officer jumps back into your case to see if you already have all required doc and VO proceeds with MR, PPR...
