My return label got activate today at 4.42PM (Passport received 13th Jan 2015). I wish all other waiting for their MR/PPR to hear update soon.

A piece of information for all dealing with FBI PCC: When I got my MR/PCC request. I was already aware that my PCC was going to be 3 months late and all I have was 2 months to send documents. So after getting my Medical done, I sent all documents along with proof of PCC application sent to FBI. As a proof I sent FBI website printout and USPS tracking showing my application reached them at what date. I also wrote a letter explaining my inability to submit PCC. I never heard anything back from CPC. I only saw Medical received update. Later after I got my PCC, I right away sent it to CPC. It was way after 2 months and CPC never asked for my PCC. After sending PCC they asked for my PP after 1 month.
Thanks for sharing. +1 added

:o My job ended last month. I have an experience letter, not a current employment letter. Will that be a problem then?

Hi, I am sorry for late reply. I am not sure in your case but my advice is please bring proof of funds and the letter that you have.

For landing at the boarder, did you need any appointment? or just go and complete the landing procedure? Can you please explain more details what documents you must carry out for landing?

Hi I am sorry for late reply.

You don't need any appointment as far as I know.

Please take following documents as far as I know when you land.

Passport, CoPR letter, employment letter, bank statements and other funds and please declare all you stuff when if they ask you.

It looks like MR is one per week now, or are there people who are not reporting?

Hi everyone,
I sent an email to CPC-O on 6th Jan for change of address. I have not received any response from them, nor has my address been changed on the application status page.

Can someone suggest how long they are taking to respond to emails nowadays? It has already been 20 days (14 working days) since I sent my email.

If anyone has recently received a reply to their email from CPC-O, then please let me know which date's email they are responding to currently.

How can you change it on E-CAS? It only says if you want to change the address please contact us. On clicking contact us it takes you to the CIC call center phone#'s and CPC-O contacts??

Are you doing something special here?

When yo sign into Ecas the first thing you see is your current mailing address at the top right-hand corner, below it is "update this mailing address" click on it, the rest is good to go. Hope this helps?

Inland applicants can change it online. USA applicants have to raise CSE.

Guys, to avoid this stress,

Do you know if there is a football game on MacBook Pro.

I want to know its name to purchase to kill some time.

Sorry, the question seems a bit off the topic

Hello everyone! I have a wonderful news. We became Permanent Residents of Canada today! The landing procedure was done at a local CIC office in Ottawa. No appointment was required as this location has drop in landing hours on a couple Tuesdays of each month (odd dates). Hours are at 10 am and at 1 pm. The process went very fast and smoothly. We were asked for our COPR letters at the door, a CIC employee put a number on them and placed in the queue. We then went in and found seats in front of 3 windows where people are called by officers. When our names were called we walked to a window and were asked for the photographs and passports. The officer then asked us some generic questions about our last entry and we also had to answer and initial a couple questions on our COPR. She asked us to sign and date and that was it! She congratulated us on becoming PR and returned our passports stamped and a copy of our signed COPR. She informed us that our PR status will be valid as long as we stay 2 out of 5 years in Canada and that our PR cards will arrive in mail in 4-6 weeks. We can apply for our SIN in 24 hours. That was it! Such a pleasant experience at the CIC office! Our PR journey is finished and I wish everyone who is waiting such a smooth process! Good luck, guys! This forum rocks!
