Humble Request

I and a few others have sent emails/CSE's to CPC-O and have been waiting for more than a week for a resopnse. I request if anyone receives a response to their communication from CPC-O, please let the rest of us know when you sent your original email/CSE.

Here, I am not concerned about MR/PPR, but looking at CPC-O timeline to respond to correspondence. When I emailed them in the end of Oct, I got a response within a week. I now know someone who emailed them for the same thing, but hasnt got a response in over 10 days.

Thank you.

It took me 26 days to get response from CPC-O for my mail request.
request sent on 12/18/14 , get response on 1/14/15.

regards.

Guys. Today I received a reply on a query I sent to CIC on 13 November. In that query I was asking about my UCI. However, the reply States that they can't find any record of me in their systems. Please note that I have already received my PER on 30th Dec.

This actually worried me. How come they don't have a record for me while I have already received the PER?

Any Advise will be much appreciated

Did you send your correspondence details UCI, Application number, DOB etc????

How will we know that passports are shipped back from CPC O to our address?
Will an email trigger or do we have to keep checking canadapost.ca with our tracking no?

You have to track it on Canada post website. CPC-O will not notify you about the shipping status. Mine shows no record found because the passports haven't been sent yet.

If you have an iPhone, you can download Parcel app and add the tracking # to your list. Once it ships, the app will push a notification.

Can one apply for Bridging work permit, if current status is Restoration Period and have already done with Medicals under FSW application and waiting for PPR ....? :o

To find out for sure, I would call CIC. They are there to answer such questions. Just in case nobody knows about it here. I am familiar with the temporary status restoration process as my spouse had to restore his Student status after his passport expired.

Quick question - I may be getting worried for no reason. But I am sure there would be someone in this thread who has a similar situation like me.

I am currently a student in Canada and I have applied for PR through FSWP 2014. I will be applying for my PGWP in end of this month. Does that affect my PR application?

Please suggest.

No. You might even be eligible for Bridging work permit if you already have PER. Just check with CIC on that though.

CIC at Vegreville Alberta handles work and study permit cases, I will advice you to send document update there by post, browse http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/vegreville.asp

But you are confusing, why worry when you have already applied for WP by attaching your PER letter...even if you do not attach PER letter and state it on cover letter that you are an FSW applicant, the office will run the database and will see you are at the medical stage and HOPEFULLY grant you your request

Where should I send additional documents.... as I have already applied for WP based on my FSW application and send PER e-mail as attachment but now I am also done with Medicals and waiting for PPR ...?? How can I update CIC about this as I Applied for WP online.. :o :(
