I am going to call them today and see if they can update me with new information. I noticed that other VOs are doing some progress with the 2014 FSW applicants dont know why these guys are causing all this delay with us. I will keep you posted.

Hope you get an answer out of them ..I called them few days back and got the same standard reply "sir your application is within the processing time and we are working on it " . I am so disappointed cus they have stalled all our applications ..I think all of us should call today and ask them why the applications are not being processed ..

I am in same boat like you, I hope every one get his PPR and stop this endless waiting.

I have a question for the experts, I had sent an email 5 weeks ago to CPC-Ottawa to add a new baby born but they didn't reply. Yesterday I had sent them a reminder but I didn't get an automatic acknowledgment as usual. Luckily this afternoon, I have received email from CPC-Ottawa asking for documents and payment for new baby.
My question is, one of the requested document by CPC is an update of Generic Form IMM0008, I want to know after updating the IMM008 form should I validate it or not, because if I click validate a new bar-code will be generated for my application.

I wish any one have experience with such a situation.

The barcode basically represents everything entered in the form - so yes, if you update the form and make any changes, you will have to hit validate again so that the barcode represents exactly what has been entered.

guys i have been visiting the EE forum and a few EE applicants whose cases were stalled had connected with their local MP's in Canada and got to know the status of the file and their files started moving.. so i would request if anyone who is a inland applicant with FSW 2014 if they have the resources so get to know the status of their file by getting in touch with their MP ..would request them to do so so atleast through you guys we can atleast come to know why there has been a stall in process the FSW 2014 applications

Please advise, my application centre is CPC-O. Can I travel outside Canada while my PR application is still under processing? Will there be any issues when I re-enter Canada. My medical n RPRF is done so far. Still waiting for passport req and CoPR.

Please advise.

No issues if you have a valid passport and a visa to return to Canada with a valid status here

Hi all

I successfully finished my landing formalities in Windsor Tunnel immigration office on 10th October. We drove through Detroit, USA & finished the landing & returned back to US in 3 hours. There were no que in the immigration office. The IOs took some time to finish the formalities as they said they have a new system in the computer now. I guess they hardly have any new immigrants in that border since they were referring to some papers/notes for completing the landing work. Both immigration & customs (for things to accompany & things to follow list) were dealt by the same IO. She was questioning me more about why I am not staying back in Canada & why I am moving back to US. She was also questioning me about giving my friend's address for PR card. She had doubts if CIC will mail the PR cards to the address since I will not be physically there in that address. She asked me to wait and see or call CIC later about the PR card. Initially I was so happy that there were nobody in the immigration office so my work will get over fast. But later on that became a problem since the other IOs sitting nearby started to question me since they had no clients to work on. IO gave me another form to fill the things to accompany list. She said the B4 form should be used only for things to accompany and not for both. I am not sure how far that is correct. But anyway she finally sealed & signed all the papers & jewelry pics & gave a copy to me. She also said that I can use COPR to drive back to Canada without the PR card or a visa.

I've good news. Two of my friends have found their "Medical results have been received" line on their ecas today after waiting for it for more than 2.5 months.
Hope this marks CPC-Ottawa's return to processing our files
