I got my RFV and PPR mail last night. My DM on ecas was on June 22nd. Have a couple of questions regarding sending passport.

1) On my PPR email, it says that CPC will return passports to USA through private courier. Has anyone used UPS/FEDEX/DHL to get your passport returned? If yes, can you share your experience?

2)Normally, how long do they take to return your passport? I have to travel on the 18th which will require passport. I wanted to make sure that i receive it back if i ship it out immediately.

1) you have to buy a prepaid shipping label from canada post online and send them with you passports so that they can return it.
i haven't seen or heard anyone using UPS/FEDEX/DHL so won't be able to tell you about it . if you want you can PM me you email and i can send you the detail on how to purchase a prepaid shipping label.

2) Normally it takes 2 weeks time to get the passport back so its won't be possible for you to travel on the 18th as you will be cutting it too close ..try and postpone your travel dates if possible.

You may also provide a PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelope (USA) or ‘Ship-in-a-click’ shipping label (USA). I guess they have started accepting fedex, ups and usps for return labels. Not sure...

the best idea would be to call the helpline no. and ask them about it ..maybe they have a idea how would it work.

I just checked my ECAS and it now shows a second line update stating that "We started processing your application on June 25, 2015" but it's weird, I checked my ecas yesterday two times and I'm 100% sure there's only one line update in it.

I don't receive any email for MR yet so the more stressed I am now!

I noticed the SLU in the morning and got the MR email that same day but later in the afternoon. Don't worry...it is coming...if not today very soon. ;D

So, don't be negative. It might be late but it will come finally.

Finally, I think I get the MR email. But it is very strange, there is just one IMM1017 form for myself, but no one for my husband.
Do they send the forms separately?

Yes they would be in separate emails. Also (if you are using gmail), the emails might have been bundled in to one another so check for that and check spam folder. If its no where, it wil come. ;D

Yes, I use gmail. there is no one in spam. I will wait for a while.
Hopefully rest applicants will get it soon. Perhaps they want to do it before the holiday.
