I was wondering of applying for GCMS notes but since it's going to take 1 month to get them then i feel the other way around ..anyone among the MR waiting folks applied for GCMS notes and received them ..what do they say ..where is the stuck up ??

Experienced forumites have once said that there's no value at all on getting GCMS notes before receiving the MR.
In most of the cases the file is not opened before being processed for MR

Totally have no idea how do they process the cases.
Even I am still waiting for the MR for a long time, I was requested to update some document at the early of May, and I have submitted that more than a month.
I do not know whether the officer has looked over my updated files. I doubt the files are still in their mailbox and the officer has not downloaded them at all
So they might open our files before sending MR, but do not know what are they doing with it.

You might want to try calling cic. i got DM on saturday 20th and got PPR email on sunday 21st.

Congratulations! I am worrying if I can receive PPR before my travel in July which will need my passport. Hopefully, I will receive the PPR soon!

Hi Friends, Just called CIC to get the same answer the 100th Time... "We can only do something after the processing time has passed please call us after the processing time has passed" FYI Processing time is 16 months lol so technically i need to wait until 2016 to know whats going on with my file :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

However, I never get reply from them except for the automatic reply.

I am 10 DEC applicant and got DM June 19th still waiting for my COPR on the post. Am visa exempt, so not expecting PPR. I hope it comes this week. The waiting is killing!



Yeah, I just contacted a friend who had the same problem. He told me the officer at the boarder doesn't care about the first date of entry. He just landed and applied for amendment after becoming a PR.

I think each of us can be an immigration lawyer after this process. OMG.

I have rang CIC more than 6 times different times of the day and got the same answer. One the girls nicely explained to me that due to call volume 4 weeks ago they blocked their access to application for FSW that are below 18 months (the current processing time).

I think it is no big deal but I want to be sure, in my COPR package there is no instruction letter of what to do. I am going to land on Saturday, hope this is not an issue?
