Actually my status is decision made 20 days ago and till now i don't get ppr,is it normal? Someone told me it is a dangerous matter as it might be sent and you may pass the certain time" 30 days" to send passport?

Yes do that (call cic and email cpc) because that's all what we can do. I am in the same boat. But I called them on 6th June. Emailed them on 8th and on 18th again but haven't heard anything yet.

Some guys got DM yesterday and I think they may also have to wait for PPR just like us (I hope not). I am just fed up of waiting now.

PER: 27th March
SLU: 10th June

When can I expect MR?

As I said earlier, send them an email (if you haven't already) that you haven't received the email so that you can show it to them of they ever ask why didn't you send your passport within 30 days (if they have sent it and are assuming that you have received it). I am waiting too, so I understand how it feels.

PS: When CPCO send emails, they schedule it to be delivered on certain date. When they say the email was sent on 27th May (which they tell everyone) we don't know if it was supposed to be delivered on 27th or on a later date.

Usually MR come within 48 hours of SLU but currently nothing is usual. There is no specific pattern so i am not sure if anybody would be able to answer your question. We few [people are waiting for passport request for 24 days now after fourth line update (which usually occurs after receiving the email).

I can see you are already in Canada. I also plan to do my landing as soon as I get back my Passport and COPR but I have a question. I have the intention of going to the border of Canada and US but I do not have US Visa. Do you think that will be an issue and can I drive down there without a US Visa since am not going into the US but just need to get to the Canada immigration area for my landing documentation?

As per my knowledge no it shouldn't be an issue since we do not intend to go to US

I need an urgent suggestion. I got the symptoms of diabetics while having immigration medical check up. CIC did not ask, but doctor asked me to prepare a letter from a family doctor or anyone who can take care of this diabetics.

Here is my questions. Is it OK if I make a letter from Quebec doctors while living in ON? Does CIC think, I plan to live in Quebec, if I have a doctor from Quebec? Is it possible to get a this kind of letter from WALK-IN clinic in ON?

That is interesting. So in your medical exam they discovered you have diabetes? What exactly is the letter they are requesting supposed to say? Is it like a letter from a regular doctor that states that you are being treated for it and that it is under control? I haven't heard of this before.

As for the issue of what doctor you see, I can't say for sure, but I don't think it would make a difference where your doctor is located. However, I do think that it could raise suspicion in certain circumstances. If you are living in Ottawa and your doctor is in Gatineau I don' think it wouldn't likely raise any suspicions. However, if you live in Thunder Bay and your doctor is from Quebec City, it might cause some reason for suspicion.

I hope someone else can provide a more definitive answer for you.

Somebody I know has got his SLU on the 25th of May and he got his MR only few days days ago.

I just saw someone who is in another forum of my country.
She is Dec.24 applicant, PER on March 25 SLU on May 26, just got the MR today.
Her VO is also Ottawa.
What's wrong with the early to middle March PER
