Yeah keep trying. In the meanwhile, if you haven't, send an email so you can have a proof that you never received passport request and so you contacted them.

I couldn't get through to an agent. It was busy for all the previous times. Probably bad timing

Try calling but if not, atleast send them an email that you haven't received any correspondence from them since DM

I did sent an email to Ottawa yesterday. I bave been calling cic for like 6-7 times a day, and every agent is saying, December 2014 is like 6 months ago. We will not be able to access your application before 18 months. This is ridiculous!

Don't lose patience bro.... I am pretty sure you will be fine. Keep trying if you have time... They will respond to emails or most likely send ppr emails to everybody again

Hello Experts,

I have a quick question. I got my passport back with the Canadian PR last month with the expiration of Feb 2016.

Do I have to do anything from my side between the time now and landing in Canada.

I have also applied for US Permanent residency which I am very hopefully to get in few months. Is there anyway I can save both my Canada PR and my US residency?

Any advise would be highly appreciated.

If you want to retain your US PR here is what you need to consider:
http://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-green-card-granted/maintaining-permanent-residence

To retain Canadian PR you have to consider the residency obligation:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445ETOC.asp#appendixA

I believe it can probably be done, but you have to be sure you meet the requirements of each.

Hello guys,
I am from egypt .i applied on 23rd dec and i already done ME for me and my wife from more than a month with third line update from three weeks.i wanted to add my new born baby and i sent the required documents (reached ottawa from two weeks) and paid the required fees but i heard nothing since then.can anybody imform me how long it takes to send ME request me for my child?. Am i late?.

I think it currently takes 100-110 days to get MR after PER, so you're still ok I guess.

Hey I am there too waiting and worried....btw I just called the call center twice today and both times the agents told me that the current delay for FSW applications is 18 months and they will not be able to tell any status unless 18 months have passed. There process has changed a few weeks back and they no longer tell you the current status. So I guess we just have to leave it to our Destiny..I am worried as hell too and there seems no way to check the status unless you contact CPC -Ottawa Directly.

Just wanted to report that my tracker got activated tonight. Passport reached CPC May 29.
