As a matter of fact, one doesn't need a university degree (let alone a PhD) to work as case processing agent, so visa-related routines are not that difficult to grasp. 90% of the related information is available on governmental websites, but for some reason a good number of applicants prefers to rely on secondary sources, who often spread nonsense on forums. I recall a user explaining that CPC-O spends three weeks of the passport turn-around-time to thoroughly check the information on issued COPR, because they don't allow walk-ins, and that they need a couple more days to
find an envelope, if you provide them with a prepaid self-addressed label from the US. I can go on with this anecdotal list for quite a while, and if you look at my karma, you will see that haters somehow manage to get their balls broken by simply reading my comments like "Pakistan and KSA are considered super high-risk countries by Canadian immigration" (z-list). I say, let them have it, for with this kind of attitude they will not succeed economically in Canada when they land (there is no CIC admissibility for retardation, so this condition doesn't put their visas at risk, huh). The important thing is that mostly there are very nice people here, such as yourself, and I enjoy to socialize with them. As long as the balance is in favour of the latter group, I will keep visiting the forum from time to time to eliminate myths and translate from CICnglish into proper English
