I sent an email Sunday night (yesterday), and got the response the next day morning, Monday. Which email address did you use?

i used this one : CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

I did my medical on 11 and today I called them they told they already sent the result yesterday ..

So my question is when Can I see the ecas status as medical received ? I still yet to send the medical receipt though. .

It generally takes one or two week to update medical. Just keep checking ECAS.

Don't we get any confirmation from CPC-O regarding File Tranfer or Processing Started as I can't see any applicant on SS under those two Stages.?? ???

Good thread. My VO is Cairo originally, but it is now confirmed that all Cairo VO applications are processed in CPC-O

My file was received on 11th Sept. So hopefully charging for September should start soon

Thanks for creating this thread.
I have CPC-OTTAWA as my processing center and i just received an email requesting FBI Clearance certificate. Unfortunately, according to the FBI website its taking approximately 12 weeks. If anyone here has received their certificate, can you please share your timeline.

Client App Status just says: We received your application for permanent residence on June 5, 2014.

I had sent PCC for both USA and India along with the application - but both will expire - so i have already got Indian PCC again and applied for USA PCC a month back

They respond within 2 days?

98% cases gets approved after medical but still they can reject application at any stage ... So just be positive.

I applied under phd program last week. My wife is in my country and want to visit me in Christmas. Do you think I can apply without hampering PR application? i am afraid to get rejection for trv for my wife. She was rejected twice but I am afraid for PR. Is there any impact of trv on PR application? thanks.

NO. Ottawa does not send any confirmation about file transfer. The first thing Ottawa sends you is a MR/PCC request.
