Interesting (or so it seems) observation.

My GCMS notes say.
Counterfoil required: No

Does it mean that I will receive COPR without PPR although I am not from a visa exempt country? Friends with GCMS notes at hand are kindly asked to share the contents of this line in their file (Page 3, Client Details). I have a reentry visa valid until Oct. 2015 and valid status in Canada.

Diplomatru,

I'm also in Canada under a study permit. When I arrive home, I will check my GCMS report for you.

I have same line on my GCMS note but my visa expired July 30th, 2014. So what do you make of it?

Technically, requesting PP is a fools errand for inland applicant since visa is a travel document and you are already located in Canada. My case is even more ridiculous as I have a valid visa. We will see how it unfolds when they finalize our files, but I have a strong feeling that they will just send COPR.

My S-1 visa has the same expiration date as my SP (Feb 2016). I just left work. As soon as I arrive home, I will check the report.

Permit me to say this...all inland applicants (who are NOT from a visa exempt country) will be requested to send their PP...reason is because they are termed as a non-landed immigrant. You will get a PR visa (on your PP) and a COPR, which you have to go out of Canada (maybe via a border) or a long appointment @Canada place in order to be considered as a full landed immigrant. :)

bat001, how would you explain the counterfoil line then?
PS they don't use the term 'landed immigrant' anymore.

affidavit from your friend wont help as its a clear signal for rejection. According to their (cic) statement, this fund must not be borrowed bla bla bla (whatever)....I will advise u to be patient, sit and think of what to say, you still have ATLEAST 30 days or maybe 60days...but I do not understand, which fund was borrowed & returned? $1300 or the $11000?.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will send them explanation to them with the 6 months of bank statements.

One more thing, should I ask my friend to do affidavit to prove that these money is my?
