Hi all,

1. I am a Masters student in Canada and I have all my application ready for FSW 2014, NOC 2172. I searched and asked a couple of people and I believe that I can apply if I have the qualifications, right?

2. I mean, even if someone is a Ph.D. student, he can apply under the FSW-NON-Ph.D. stream if he/she wants to, for some reason. Am I right? Because based on the rules, I didn't see any limitations, so long as you are qualified and have all the documents ready.

Please reply urgently, as I am almost ready to mail my package, even today.
Thanks

Yes - you can certainly apply if you qualify.

Thanks for your reply. Just to make sure for both me (Masters student) and my friend (Ph.D. student): we both can apply under the regular FSW if we have qualification regardless of being students already in Canada, right? <- Especially asking for my friend, by choice, he can apply under Non-PHD-stream, am I correct? Asking, because for sure he can apply under Ph.D. stream, but he doesn't want to, on purpose.

If this is clarified urgently, We're mailing our packages tomorrow first thing in the morning. Thanks once again.

In form IMM 5669 (background Declaration), question 7 (Education), should i mention my masters education in that table? If so, what should I write in "Type of diploma or certificate issued"?
