Ok Guys, Finally my day also came. Though I was very scared till my last step in New Delhi Visa Office. But I really got good support from RatingCrady..

Interview time: 8:30, reached there at 08:00. Had to wait outside embassy..

I went inside at 08:45 and waited in reception area till my name was called.

And then at 09:15 my name was called. I went inside the room with my spouse, lady was sitting across the glass and she told that she will meet my spouse afterwards. I closed the door and sat in front of her.
She was already going through my file and asked me about my company. Though she was trying to be very frank and wanted to make me comfortable enough to talk to her. She asked very little stuff. Then she moved on to my job profile, I told approx 5-6 lines, she said how many people reporting to you, I answered. Hardly 5 min were asked to me regarding my Job Profile. Rest she was telling about her experience as I am in automotive sector. She also asked me 1 point from my original reference letter. I explained her. She also had a look on my salary slips(current). - Good thing: she did not cross questioned on my job profile, she did not ask about my previous companies..

But there was 1 problem, I wrongly answered 1 question, she confirmed me 2 times for which she was very sure about that but I was firm on my point knowingly I am wrong. She said OK with a weird face.

Further she started asking about my wedding things, spouse, had a look at my marriage photographs. Approx 5 min.

Then she started asking about my relative in Canada and who all staying with me in India. - 1-2min

And finally she herself asked me if I had PCC, I gave her.

And told me that you will be informed by mail in a week or so for the next procedure..

I asked her again if she requires any more documents to have a check, she said NO.

I asked if she would like to meet my wife: again NO.
I said thanks and moved out of the room.

In totality my interview lasted for 20 min at max. And after coming out of the room I was not having any idea that why I was called for interview as it was very smooth and did not last long. May be it is random call. I don't know.

That's my experience. If it helps..

Hi! Need some advice. I received my MR and Request for PR Fee on January 30th. Now, I lived in the usa so they have requested police clearance by FBI and also home country again. As you all know everything needs to be submitted within 2 months. My medical is done already.I have started processing for FBI request. however, their new lead time is now 4-5 months. Also, fee I will pay through Demand Draft for which CIC says cannot be more than 2 months old. So I am really confused, but I planned out something like this:
- Jan 30: received MR and fee request
- FBI: start on Feb and expected results in June. SGVO will probably get my mail by end of June. So thats definitely more than 2 months
- Local Police report: Send to SGVO around March(within 2 months of request) since its validity is 6 months. So it will be valid till August by that time FBI report will be with them.
- Demand Draft- When do I send in? Even if I send in late march according to CIC letter it will be considered till late May only. My FB report will still be missing then. Has anyone faced this before? Why does CIC says 2 months when most demand drafts are valid for 6 months?

Is it any useful if we send i query? Where do we send in query to SGVO?

You are worrying too much :)..
1. Write an email to VO with proof of ur FBI Application request and a screenshot/ official response (if any) abt their TAT times and request for an extension. They're aware of this and will extend the deadline (at least many NDVO applicants have reported this)..Raise a CSE to inform or use this email ...SPOREIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca (you would have received MR from this email)
2. Send every other Document in one envelop within the deadline (around March as you are planning)... DD submission in March as long (as you have followed the rules of validity) will be perfectly fine..It's their job to encash...Only an extension of FBI PCC would be given- that doesn't mean other things remain on hold...

PS- Just a suggestion, CAD value has come down so depending on ur currency u may find paying by CC cheaper than DD...do check once...rest is upto u..Good luck!!! :)

Also check out this thread if any other SGVO Applicants has gone throug a similar experience->

Hi everyone.

Posting after a long time.

I wish everyone who is waiting eagerly for the next step to get a good news soon.

I just got an email from CIC and have already updated the spreadsheet accordingly.

NOC 2132, CPC-Ottawa
Application submitted : 11th August 2014
PER email received: 30th November 2014
PCC/RPRF request: 02nd February 2015

My question is that I haven't received medical request, but they have sent RPR fee request though. Is this a standard procedure ? Shall I expect a medical request later, or consider it to be waived ?

Regards

Medical test is a very vital test and VO will never Waive it.

Please expect it later.

A detailed post has been shared a couple of pages back on Medical please be prepared.

Please follow these steps:

1. Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
3. Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
4. You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant and your spouse
5. Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490
6. Click “Submit”
7. Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.

So do you mean that I have to pay RPRF in two separate transactions for myself and my wife or I can simply 2 in Enter number of applications and pay $980 in a single transaction itself?

Also, the process doesn't require any personal information, so how will CIC know who's paid?

Why would you consider it to be waived? U have given Canada Medicals within 1 year is it?

As to the behaviour of CPC-Ottawa, seniors like Goku would be best positioned to answer...Also check this thread once to get the trend->
