Only reason I see can be some doubts about the documents. Because if one of CIO officer is concerned about the originality of the documents in that case documents could be sent for further verification and authentication and it might take the time. Otherwise you are right if they have rejected your file it would have been in your hands long time ago.

As far as your file is genuine rest assured that you are in CAP and you will hear good news soon.

Hi Everyone,

I need a small information. My application reached CIC office on 31st Dec. I have filed in for 2281,Unfortunately my masters was not recognized by WES because it is from SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY and I'm running short of one point. I have sent a covering letter along with my application to CIC and included DEC, IGNOU, SMU Gazette letter heads and SMU University letter head signed the Controller of examinations stating that SMU is approved by UGC and is also in the AIU list..

My points are 66..

21 for Degree..
12 for Age..
15 for Experience..
18 For Ielts..

Firstly, I would like to know will CIC consider my application or not. I'm also worried if CIC deducts the amount from my credit card will they refund it back as I have filed my application with family and fees is $1250..

I request everyone to kindly give your valuable inputs..

If your app goes through completeness check, they will collect the cost recovery fee and send you NER. No refund after that. I would encourage you to withdraw your application now before that happens.

Caips takes 5 to 6 weeks minimum. And Its starts at 40 cad..

With this TAT and people who are awaiting PPR.. Using Caips is questionable at this point of time.

the verif is done after "we started processing your app" and before "Medical Requested".BUT as you know there are no rules with CIC

I have a question: When I sent my documents to CIC, I didn't submit the Police certificates (PCC). I am wondering when the VO (my VO is Singapore) request PCCs, how long is the usual duration for preparing the required PCCs? Can I extend it?

Any help will be appreciated!

hello seniors
i am 4th july applicant. per recieved 28th oct. my question is after reciving per my wife travel outside india and still she is there. we did not inform cic regarding that. now my second line updated on 22 jan. what should we do now ?

It is unclear, unfair and non-logical way that CIC has.
When my file had been received by CIC in 20th Oct. there were just 376 people in his last updated list. My NOC is 2132.
Till now, I have not received any news from them. In contrast they cashed 4th Dec. applicant in other NOCs.
If the cap is filled. it is around 100 days waiting to know about rejection! It is unbelievable!
It has not been inferred that my document is incomplete because there is no progress in this NOC after 8th Oct. and also my file is exactly the same as my friend's file who has gotten his PER.

I couldn't understand this method. In there description they announce that they will respect to FIFO. In reality there is no sign.

How can you analyze this issue?

Hi All,

I need a small suggestion
I'm currently waiting for my FBI PCC, I have the rest of the docs
Indian PCC and Medical receipt and RPRF receipt.
I have requested for extension of my due date which is 6th Feb and I'm waiting for a reply from NDVO.
Do you guys think it would be better submit the documents that I currently have and later submit my pending FBI PCC or would it be better if I submit all at once?
I'm expecting my FBI PCC in another week
