I already shared the good news about my PER that I recwived yesterday. My NOC IS 2281. I have few questions that have been arrived after receiving my PER.

1. WILL I RECEIVE HARD COPY OF THE PER?
2. WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS IN COMING MONTHS?
3. ANYONE WHO ALREADY GOT VISA FROM BANGLADESH? WHAT TYPE Of MEDICAL TESTS DO I NEED TO PERFORM?
4. WHAT ARE THE CHECKLISTS SHOULD I INITIATE FOR NEXT

Your answers.........

1. No. As you have provided e-mail address all correspondences will be conducted through e-mail. Unless you choose to do otherwise.
2. Next is CIC will send your file to SGVO for further processing. Within 40/45 days from your PER date you'll receive AOR from SGVO confirming you that your file is with them.
3. Medical is same for all. You'll become to know about it when you receive MR request. Till then you relax.
4. Nothing.

hi all,
my interview was over on 19th jan. interview went for about 25min for me and 5 min for my husband,overall 30 min. they asked general questions. just couple of questions regarding noc. after the interview she told me i will be receiving the next step process in a week. no communication so far. i also meet a couple who got a interview call after mr? so interview can be at anytime. so i don't know how ndvo works. generally how long will it take to get a response from ndvo after interview?

Once courier says that received on 2nd September what is the role of consultant after that ?

I think what he is saying is minimum is 732 days (183 days in each of 4 years)

Example: I can stay for 183 days in Canada and remaining days in India (or whatever) each year for 4 years and still qualify for citizenship

As per new law, you have to stay now for 183 in a year, that would make him a resident. If he is Canada for say 182 days then it would make him a non-resident. So apart from 1430 days (4 years our of 6 years) you now also have to meet residential law (staying for minimum of 183 days per year for 4 years).

Dear ALL
Anybody sent Passport to NDVO directly not through VFS... How can we do it.How they will return it ...

If you send the Passport directly to NDVO through courier. You will receive the Visa stamped passports along with the COPR through speed post.

No worries jeymz, here you go.


1. we received your application on XXXX date - means they have done initial check and your ECAS is alive (mostly), you have passed the first stage and would receive PER soon

2. we started processing your application on xxxx date - means your file is under review and you will get Medicals, PCC and RPRF request soon within couple of weeks.

3. Medicals have been received - means your meds are passed (including your dependents in the application) and your wait for PPR starts here.

4. decision has been made on your application etc etc.... - means your will get passport request in next few days

Hello All..

I am an October 2014 application of FSWP under NOC 2173.. No update from CIC yet..

I want to apply for Express Entry now.. While filling out the form, there is a question which asks if I had applied to CIC before and if i say yes it asks me for the UCI number.. I dont have the UCI number for the application i already sent.. I called up CIC in the way mentioned by other forum members but they did not provide me the UCI

I am not sure what should i mention in my EE profile now about my FSWP application.. Please suggest

Congrats for MR request buddy...

If you saved the edit link the last time you updated the spreadsheet, you can use that link to update your MR request in the SS. If you do not have the edit link saved, you will have to create a new entry in the spreadsheet from the scratch with the same name and the previous entry will get replaced by the new one.

My suggestion would be to complete the EE profile without any mention of FSWP application. In case both the apps. make it to the visa office, you will be likely asked to withdraw one of the two applications.

So it means after getting pr card (say in 6months)on first landing we can go to india and land back in canada after 1yr 6 months and then can stay 183 days a year to maintain the criteria
