SOME OF THE DARK AREAS OF MY APPLICATION WHICH WERE MATTER OF CONCERN FOR ME. MIGHT PACIFY APPLICANTS IF THEIR APPLICATION IS STILL UNDER REVIEW BY CIC OR HELP OTHERS TO THOSE WHO ARE ABOUT TO DESPATCH THEIRS.

1. MY SPOUSE'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE DIDNT HAVE HER NAME ON IT. THOUGH ELSEWHERE I ATTACHED HER SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE WITH THE EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS. I SENT AN ADDENDUM (AFFIDAVIT FROM HER PARENTS) WHICH I STILL AM NOT SURE WAS ADDED TO THE APPLICATION. I SENT AN EMAIL ON 22.10.2014 TO CSU INFORMING THAT THERE IS NO NAME ON BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR WHICH REPLY WAS SENT ON 11.12.2014 THAT "YOUR APPLICATION IS UNDER REVIEW, SHOULD THERE BE ANY REQUIREMENT YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED."

2. I HAD NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR WHICH I GOT NON AVAILABILITY CERTIFICATE (NAC) FROM REGISTERING AUTHORITY AND ATTACHED A SELF AFFIDAVIT.

3. THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A MATTER OF DISCUSSION REGARDING EMPLOYEES PROVIDENT FUND TO BE SUBMITTED AS PROOF OF FUNDS (POF). I HAD INCLUDED IT IN MY APPLICATION.

4. I FORGOT TO WRITE NAMES IN NATIVE LANGUAGE.

A bit of concern we show, i would be less by xxx amount. oh i have work hard to cover up. :(

But here for immigration the stage is exact reverse, whatever amount it could be please take it, take my money, why aren't you taking my money? when you will charge my CC, shall i come personally and pay you ? etc...
We jump n roll around, declare very loud, my CC get charged, i am en-cashed...Hurry :)

You are Sept 10 applicant. When did you learn that ECAS showed "In Process"? I have noticed that trend now that ECAS 1st line shows up first. Some reported that 3 days after it showed up, they received PER.

Dear Nigracalling

After seeing your post I strongly feel I am also in same boat as you had been earlier, Congratulation on you're PER mate!!
In my case also I have submitted SSC certificate issued from “Board of Secondary Education” which specify my Date of birth & my father name

I have submitted Original copy of “AFFIDAVIT IN LIEU OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE” on India Stamp paper notarized by local advocate. Under (Deponent Name/Signature) I had haven't signed the letter I sent
NOC 2132, Application received date at CIC is 22nd October.

So will CIC reject the file?
Is there any way I can approach them in middle and notify them? Did you send them the email to CSU in middle of application
[size=10pt][size=10pt]I have now crossed 59 days since the date of file received, will they attached my additional / ADDENDUM documents to my existing file or it's too late[/size][/size]

Please advise as it will help me a lot

Seniors & all,

I had my ECAS 3rd line updated as "Medicals Received on 5th Dec" - kindly update the sheet.

I have some kind of situation here... I am applying from South Africa but I will go on a 5 weeks holidays outside South Africa from 20 Dec to 26 Jan..
What if my VO asks for the passports now?? How many days I have to submit the passports? What other documents I have to prepare before they ask for the passport? (in order not to lose more time)

The other problem is I travel a lot internationally, as a part of my job - how long will it take from date of passport receipt to return??

Agree with ur observation, its happening for 2 reasons

1. Some of us have spent more than the "fee" in arranging & submitting the docs. So, its like few extra bucks for getting ALL the money worth.
2. Most importantly, it shows "MONEY CAN'T BUY EVERYTHING" i.e. the "product" is marginally priced and we are able to "buy" it because of our skills, education, determination, etc etc rather than the cash we pay.

Net net, its more of a draw for "product" priced below its intrinsic value. In all such scenario's "the reverse situation works".

how many months CIC usually take to transfer file to NDVO...?.

there will be holidays from 25 dec to jan 1 2015... how much delays it migh cause..?.

Not sure when it was updated bro....I called up the customer care to get my UCI a couple of days before. It was showing as 'In process' ever since I checked.
 
Thanks to all. Rest assured, I will keep the forum updated for the next steps.

For now the plan is to visit VFS in Nehru Place (New Delhi) tomorrow and submit passports.
