Dear Senior Members,

My Passport did not have a surname so in the forms i submitted to Canada i included my full name as my surname.

Now i have to renew my passport. Can i submit my PP application form including my surname.

Will that effect my application ? or pose any problems for me in the future.

Appreciate your help.

You can submit passport application with your surname with the defined process of name correction by providing supporting documents. After your file is transferred to VO you can request them to update your new passport along with an affidavit for name correction.

i didn't metion UCI number on envelope. is it any problem?

I didnt say that you are sharing is false , what my intention is do not share things which is half correct, the guy who got visa or ppr may be he is in fswp 2013 , if you have concrte information than you can share .

CC Charged: 26th Sep'14
PER: 05th Oct'14
2nd line updated: 28th Nov'14 quoting "We started processing your application on 24th Nov'14"

I am not able to understand, why they put back date? And secondly till when can I expect next update? Experienced people, pls reply.

i sent my application on 19 August and received by 22 August but till date no update

is there is option to check (such like mail ) so i can communicate with them

and i am hear that they start now with application received on 15 August is it correct

It is not a loss I am worried about (-1), but want to understand what goes behind one's thinking when they are awarding -1. Just wanted to ask them why? Nothing beyond that.
