Hi All,

Today I got confirmation from my bank that my DD got en-cashed. There is nothing outstanding in their NOSTRO Account as on 19 November 2014.
I am 13 August Applicant.

Congrats...

I have a question regarding FSWP 2014 Spreadsheet: http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet

In the main sheet, I am curious what the column Medicals received by VO refers to? How do you figure out when your Medicals were received by the VO? Does this refer to when ECAS updates with your medicals?

My medicals were sent on Nov 14th, about a week ago. My ECAS still shows

2. we started processing your application on September 16, 2014.

How long does it take for ECAS to be updated once the eMedical case has been submitted. (I have the eMedical printout of the submission.)

Thank you in advance for your help

Please advice

I know why my CC was not charged.

My application is returned saying they dont accept SSC marksheet as proof of Birth certificate as mine does not have Date of birth on it.

My problem is I am in Canada now and a citizen of India and its not possible for me to get a birth certificate form India.
Can someone please please suggest me if there is a way I can get an affidavit(in Canada) which would say that I cant attaine a Birth certificate from India?? and would confirm my Name, Date of birth and Parents name.

Apprecaite a reply!!!!!

Hi max_ash

quoting a very old post and unfortunately I have also sent an SSC mark sheet without a parent name in place of BC and my CC has been charged too (30th July case charged on 11th Nov). Does it mean BC has not been considered as an issue in my case. I am still awaiting PER though. Any ideas ?

I can recall that additionally, I had sent a cover letter written by hand mentioning why I cannot provide a BC too which is at my time of birth there was no concept of BC in India and 10th pass cert is considered to be the proof in India officially for people with my birth year and signed the same. I also did not send the ref letter from my current employer either but sent salary slips etc. and also mentioned why i could not provide these from my current employer - I do not want to inform my current org before the finalization of visa.

HI Dear
sorry about the news
but can you please highlight that on which grounds did CIC reject your application after your RPRF request?
As far as i know RPRF is landing fees and if they have deducted then your medicals should have cleared without your medical they don't deduct your RPRF
And can you also share that whether you got an email or you got the Delivery mail for your rejection?

Sorry to hear about ur case bro....but it's strange...can I ask one question?...what medical reason? U were aware about it?
Once again sorry for u...but don't loose hope...something good is there for u in future..God bless u bro..

Thank you for all the comments.

I received both request for fee payment, passport bio-page copies, updated information chart, PCCs and medical check-up request on 15 September. However, there was a 30 days deadline for the first 4 items and 60 days deadline for medical check-up. I went on and paid the fee and the documents to them in early October. Went for medical exam in mid-October, additional tests were required at the end of October due to bp readings over the 140/90 threshold. Hospitals then asked me to send them my family's medical records (parents and sibling) the first week of November. And then, the hospital informed me that they sent all information to the Consulate on 11 November.

Finally, I got an email earlier tonight stating that my application for PR cannot be granted due to family history of hypertension and cardiovascular disease. It was all information I have for now. It was mentioned as well a formal rejection letter with details will follow in letter post.

Can you elaborate on this "As far as i know RPRF is landing fees ..."? I paid that using a foreign exchange draft. The fund has already been deducted from my account upon issuance of the draft. Should I contact the Consulate for a refund on the RPRF fee or to have them returning my cheque to me? How can I get in touch with the consulate in London?

Thanks suhits! but thats my question.. if i get a medical call, then there will be a difference in medical height and the height which i wrote on forms!

I personally, think you need to send a letter to the CIO explaining your problem. It cannot hurt. Please don't wait. If they feel you are not trustworthy it could hurt you in other parts of the process. However, I doubt it would result in your rejection. If you wait till you get your MR, the VO may have already started the background processing. They may not be happy then.

Hello all, I wish to apply under NOC 0111 - Financial Managers. But my current designation is not that of managerial level. Can I still apply under this NOC if my job role / duties match the requirements of the NOC??? Any senior member Pls suggest me.

Designation is not important. If your job duties matches the 0111 NOC as per CIC requirement then go ahead and submit your application.
Good Luck....

I am sorry about this >:( How did you pay the RPRF fee? If it is by credit card, they will put it on the Credit Card. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/fees/refunds/rprf.asp

If your UK PCC was not more than 3 months old at the time of application, I don't think they would ask you for it again. I'm almost sure they would ask you for the Indian one at the time of MR.

Hi, I got my Indian PCC from London in June, will that be valid that time....how long is the validity of Indian PCC???

Please advise

Thanks
Amit
