I would still go for immigrating to Canada considering the wide range of choices of employers & provinces to land once we get successful with our visa. I prefer Canadian culture as well. ;) ;)
Just my opinion bro.

Same here bro. 8) 8)

Dear Friends,

I am a NOC 1112, NDVO applicant. received PER on the 12th November. I want to seek opinion of the esteemed forum members and will greatly appreciate your perspective on my questions.

Since I sent my application, there have been following changes to my application.

1. I have renewed my passport and therefore have a new passport now
2. We have been blessed with a child

I am planning to send the updated application forms, documents, proof of funds and additional application fee to NDVO without them specifically asking for all of this. I hope this would help me avoid one extra layer of request and response with the VO. I have already sent a CSE enquiry to NDVO informing them of these changes to my application and asking them what actions do I need to take.

I am planning to send the following pro-actively

1. Updated Generic Application Form
2. Updated Additional Family Info forms
3. Updated Proof of Funds
4. Photographs, birth certificate and passport copy of my newborn
5. Copy of my new passport
6. Updated Fee payment form
7. Additional CAD150 fee
8. PCC
9. A cover letter explaining my situation and documenting all enclosures

My questions are:

1. Is it correct to send all these documents to NDVO without them specifically asking for these
2. If I'm paying the additional CAD150 through a demand draft, should the demand draft be payable in Canada or India?
3. Will this help me get the MR for all my family members (including the new born) when I get the MR
4. Where should I send these documents? Which address of NDVO? Is it, Immigration Section - Service de l'Immigration, 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021 India.
5. Does anyone think that I should rather wait for NDVO to contact me before sending all of these?

Please provide me your perspective on this. Looking forward to hear from all of you.

Thank you bro,

so In principal applicant case, I will put the address where my parent and spouse are staying and in my spouse's case, she will put the address of her parent and me. Am i right?
Thats correct !!

Thanks Navtej.
I had actually sent my application for NOC 2174 and it reached on 11 September. Dont know when it would come back. I do have valid experience under 2172 also (just that no roles & responsibilities on letter head) and am planning to send 2nd application under 2172.
For that i am giving IELTS again as, british council did not issue 2nd TRF.

Any info if any 2174 apps were sent back because of CAP filling till now?

Regards
Jamie

Guy's,
Too worried... sent pcc as requested by London vo but it's 12 days and no MR still.... too worried is anyone in same situation

Guys! I just checked the " stages of an application" pages.
It says our status" in process" and then "we received your application on... " only says that our credit card was charged successful

This ecas status does not mean we have passed the eligibility review.
And we did not get per email.
now I do worry that something went wrong

I will be submitting my application next week. My NOC is 0911( Manufacturing Manager). I have a few questions. I would be very grateful to the members here for your input.

1) will be sending my application next week. What do u think about NOC 0911 chances being capped during this time? Currently its showing 128.
2) my consultant told me to fill IMM0008DEP form. I only have a wife and no dependants. But my consultant told me to fill wife details in that form just to be in safe side. Though the checkliat says it is to be used only if u have more than 5 dependants. Is there any risk if I fill that form with my wife detail. Will the application get returned.
3) I have PCC for india which was issued to me on 28th August 2014. I hope it gets accepted. I heard somewhere that they dont accept for more than 3 months during initial application.
4) my employer doesnt issur salary statments but they deposit salary in my bank and entry in bank shows "Salary Received". Can it be subsituted for salary slips. I have printed out the 6 months bank credit statment showing salary received from my banking online portal
5) whem it should expect My PER if I submit my application next week

Thank you for putting your time and reading this. I would appreciate members of this group to feed in the details.

1) will be sending my application next week. What do u think about NOC 0911 chances being capped during this time? Currently its showing 128. - SAFE NOC
- NO NEED TO FILL THIS FORM. YOUR CONSULTANT IS WRONG.
3) I have PCC for india which was issued to me on 28th August 2014. I hope it gets accepted. I heard somewhere that they dont accept for more than 3 months during initial application. - YES. YOUR PCC MUST NOT BE GREATER THAN 3 MONTHS OLD WHEN YOU SUBMIT IT WITH INITIAL APPLICATION. YOUR APPLICATION NEEDS TO REACH CIC BEFORE 28th NOVEMBER.
4) my employer doesnt issur salary statments but they deposit salary in my bank and entry in bank shows "Salary Received". Can it be subsituted for salary slips. I have printed out the 6 months bank credit statment showing salary received from my banking online portal - YOU CAN SUBMIT BANK STATEMENT, BUT NOT REQUIRED. EVEN PAY SLIPS AREN'T MANDATORY. IF REF LETTER IS PERFECT, NO FURTHER PROOFS ARE REQUIRED. ONLY IF REF LETTER IS ISSUED BY SENIOR / COLLEAGUE, THEN APPLICANTS ATTACH PAY SLIPS TO MAKE THE APPLICATION LOOK MORE GENUINE. BUT EVEN THEN IT IS NOT MANDATORY.
5) whem it should expect My PER if I submit my application next week - PER CAN BE EXPECTED BY FEB END.

@ seniors
İ need your help, i stayed in the U.S for 2 days less than 6 months
We arrived on december 31 and we left on june 28, do i need to apply for U.S police certificate?

Not required as per CIC rules. But VO may or may not request you to submit depending on their comfort / doubts.

That's all the ECAS says even after PER. So, the status is not a reason to worry about.

Hi All,

My application under 2173 reached on 21st Aug, I now see that the CAP is full.
I already have a job offer letter from Canada.. my employer is getting the arranged employment done for me however for now I will just have the application number from HRSDC which I will send to CIC.

My question is how should I sending sending my additional documents so that they can attach to my application before the file is even opened.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Can't agree more, especially about family.
But good thing is that we can get family and extended family (parents / In laws) also in Canada in some time.
