Please update if your application (NOC 2173) reached on Aug 13th and is charged ... Looks like no 2173 updates after 12th aug ... might be end of the story ..
if they checked completness and started to charge then atleast few 2173 should have be charged since past 2 days .. but that is not the case .

Never thought one day delay will cost me this much .. oh God .. need a miracle to fall in cap.

Can someone please guide me on this?

A friend (She, husband and kid) of mine applied for NOC (2173). Their application reached CIC on 23rd June 2014.Their mode of payment was also
DD from Thomas cook and did it through an agent but still they have not received their PER.
Today she gave a call to her agent seeing that 2173 has capped. He said 4 application he sent is returned and he has not got an update about hers.
He also said that he will update the status of her application in 2 days (Which I don't know how he plans to do as CIC responds in 2 months and not in 2 days if I am not wrong).
He seemed to be fraud and I really doubt if he had applied on the first place. How can she get an update from CIC to see if they had actually received her file.
Also is there any way for her to reapply for any other NOC?

hi Nsat, two cents here:
Ask for courier details that carried his/her application and get the status, it even shows who has received it. Second, assuming that everything is well, if there is no news, assume it is still a good news. The applications get stacked based on date of arrival and accordingly counted towards quota. The rejection if any is also intimated but the criteria is based on certain laid procedures which are beyond your hand once the application is under process there.

Same here Waiting for PER as bank refused to provide details about dd status :

TO ALL DD APPLICANTS:
I was able to get DD encashment status and date from ICICI Bank. Likewise they initially refused. I questioned what will happen to my money if CIC didn't encash it (and I told CIC is A foreign gov body and would never tell me they did or did not) - What does your Banking Law or procedure say - If a DD is issued but not encashed and if the customer has no recourse to know whether encashed by the beneficiary, then the customer should lose the money????
Then I gave a request letter asking them to decline my request so that I will follow with CIC (I simply told)
Then the next day the Bank called and told me the date of encashment
Good Luck all future migrants.... MIGRANTS CANNOT AFFORD TO GIVE UP!

I logged in on the online service on cic, entered my info and it says
We received your application for permanent residence on July 16, 2014
This is AOR?

Yes Bozance this actually AOR which we forum members are saying PER. If you read the mail from CIC, it is actually mentioned Positive Determination Of Eligibility(PDR). Go to E-CAS. right under the We Have received.......msg you will see this.........
