What exactly is your concern/question? You don't want to move to Canada for some time after the baby is born? The rules are straight. You need to live in Canada for 2 years within the 5 years after landing to be able to retain and renew PR. The changes announced are for citizenship requirement, nothing so far for PR renewal. So, the decision is really upto you.

Just so you know, if your wife gets pregnant before landing, you will need to notify the VO of the pregnancy. But, it would be a very bad idea to wait until after the baby is born to land. If the baby is born before landing, then your visa gets cancelled and it can be a time-consuming and hectic process to get visas reissued for all. I think what's best for you is to land towards the end of your visa validity (but before the birth of the baby) and give birth to the baby in Canada. You can then return to India. This will give you a little over 2 years after the baby is born before you need to move to Canada permanently.

Currently there is nothing which I can say that my wife is pregnant.

Lets say I get my visa on 1 Jan 2015 and fly in same month to Canada for 15 days (my friend will collect PR Card and send the same to India). Come back again to India, and re-enter in Canada in end of 2016.
Will that be fine.

Congrats.. wait for PER now. PER is positive eligibility review, if you have mentioned your email then should receive via a mail or in letter.

You will get PER by email. Its a Positive response to your application. They will provide you an application number and User Identifier no that is unique to search your case on their site and this will be used for all further communications. Hope this helps... Hope you will get PER in 2 weeks time...Best of luck...

The express entry program is being launched in January 2015, as i Have heard. so will CIC accept applications under FSW-14 till Jan 2015 only????

Thats a big one, and dont take it personally.

A different view helps, how else you can explain a person getting MR request on the same day VO received application. There should be a logic and facts behind every thing you and I see.
Each and every thing I had pointed, is based on facts and instances. I dont worry and will not worry, you dont start worrying for me.


There is no point in attaching emotions and thinking everything is hunky dory, do accept a different point of view and dont cringe when a different point of view from your's is put forward.

However where are the facts dear..... who is the person who got the medical same day his file received by ndvo. I think no one knows the file receipt date for NDVO this year. Get your facts correct budy, you were earlier giving facts for saying that online rprf is not valid.......
You are saying at one instance that iy is your point of view and at another instance that this is based on facts.....

Went to this consultant with one of my Cousins, After hearing about this claim from him (my Cousin) .
And he very confidently claimed it !!!!!!!!
I am AMAZED , either they do not know the facts or they are acting smart , God knows!!!!!

Hello guys,

I hold diploma and B.Tech in engineering. I am also done with my WES evaluation which says Canadian equivalency is Bachelors degree (4 years).

Additionally they have also evaluated my Diploma in engineering which is of 4 years. And in Evaluation result of Diploma....they have mentioned as "Secondary school diploma and Diploma(2 years)".

According to Educational point claiming information provided on CIC website, it states that you can claim 22 points if having two or more post secondary degrees or diploma.

Should consider myself getting 22 points for education?

September applications will be returned under NOC 1112 because it has been capped.
Think of alternative NOC and apply to that accordingly.
