Hello All,

I am a June 3 Applicant and have not heard from cic to date. I did not submit my original IELTS because, it was sent last year before cap got filled up. I did not get it back my package from CIC since last year. So I sent a statement explaining why i could not submit the original.

can this be a reason for rejection.

I used DD and still no news to confirm if it has been encashed.

June 3 application have presumably been processed. One way which I can think of letting know is that if you have kept a copy off DD, go to the issuing bank and ask if the same has been presented. Most of banks can check by DD number if the same has been presented or not.

Thank you for guides , But in my current country homosexual relationship banned and has a barbarian execution penalty! I think as CIC defined the term common-law, rationally it is not matter whether it is legal relationship in original immigrant country as we know in many countries it is banned or at least still illegal.

There are a few options upfront with you on basis of the picture you have given,

1- Go ahead with your application and face the complication(if arise) to resolve during processing.

OR

2- The best suited applicant applies now and sponsor's other partner later In this case one of you will have established your self with a PR ,which makes your case stronger on relationship and humanitarian grounds. I'm sure an Immigration lawyer will advise you to follow point#2, if you seek any. Your joint account statement will work since CIC/VO just checks funds to be on your names.

Thats not an issue. As long as the letterhead is in English, you should be fine. A seal is a seal - and if not in English, that's just the way it is.

But just to be on the safe side, explain it in a cover letter. I am sure CIC does not expect you to 'translate' the company seal for them.

PR holders are allowed to land to designated city I guess..
For Quebec, my answer is no.

PR holders are allowed to land and settle in any city in Canada other than a city in Quebec.

Hi Neel/Oscar/Century/Asheef/future and other Experts,

One of my friend doesn't have Birth certificate, however he does have his 10th class mark sheet where his father name and DOB is mentioned in English.

Few queries;
1) Can this 10th certificate can be considered as birth certificate? Yes. if it contains your full name, DoB, and at least one of your parent's name.
2) What type of affidavit should he provide along with this? Can someone provide the affidavit with an example resembling the above scenario? Already provided by ishakmohd.
3) Are there any successful cases who got PER for the same scenario? Yes. Check the remark column for applicant who got PER. (ajx, Rmukesh, ...)

Any idea when they assign a UCI number. Do they assign it for each & every application they receive. I remember someone was saying that UCI number was mentioned on application form when the application was returned due to cap full in last year. So any wild guess on this part

UCI is a client ID assigned for lifetime. So whether your application is selected or rejected, you still get the UCI.

NDVO has not sent even one MR for NOC 1212.

Whats going on. Vivek got the 2nd line after so many days and Both Chandu and Vivek are waiting for MR. I am already feeling like i will have to wait for a long time. :'(

I am a 23rd June 2014 applicant under NOC Code 2173 and my visa office is London. My CC got charged on 15th October 2014 for CAD 550. I did not receive any PER or AOR yet.
