Guys,

I understand that additional family information should be filled by both applicant and spouse. I am the principal applicant in the process. However, I am lost while helping my wife fill her form. So, please let me know how does it work for each section A
who will be the applicant me or my wife? and whose name should be printed in spouse section.

Help will be highly appreciated.

Dear group,

Iam from India and I have mentioned my visa office as ND and my current country of residence is UAE.

Medicals should be done in India or can be done in UAE also

I will tell you what i did.

For my spouse, I left applicant blank, mentioned her details in spouse column and rest of the details pertaining to her. This worked for few of my known applicants who got PRs.

Few others here suggest to interchange applicant and spouse for respective form. I guess both work. Upto you.

Good Luck!!

We are all set to send application today, but am so worried that we might miss something!!! I am bringing up all my courage to step out to courier the set.

One last clarification : Do we need to send visa papers? My wife traveled to UAE on business visit. It was paper based visa.. she missed those papers somewhere as the visa expired 5 years back. Do we need to attach visa papers? Please clarify. For our child, we attached birth certificate and passport.. any thing else needed? like discharge summary, affidavit etc?

in her form u need to mention her as applicant and you will be the spouse.
In your one it is the opposite .
keep in mind the question is the applicant and not the main applicant

Not required to send visa papers.

For kids, BC and passport should be fine, unless you have any name change, adoption, etc which necessitate additional documents.

Please get your documents verified by another person independently.

Element of doubt will always be there, but have trust in yourself and click send and start your wait. Good Luck!!

Dear Forum members,

I have a little query listed below.

I have received PER last week only.
My wife is working and the information is clearly provided in application forms.
But as of now her 1 year contract is about to finish this month and she does not want to continue her present job.
should this effect background check of my application ?
Do VO background check details of spouse ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Jaxon bro

I also just got my CC charged
for the Pizza

+ 1 pending with me (karmafied)

I don't know what this thing about +1 and karmafied is but I'll give you a +1 anyway! :o

I don't think I'll get US dollars or even CA dollars for having more +1s :P, so I think it doesn't matter how many +1s or -1s I have. ;D I am here to support forumites with all that I can and in return benefit from wealth of content and advice this forum has on offer, that's it, otherwise I will leave all my +1s and -1s here! ;D ;D :P :P

If you are the principal applicant, they wont check/verify your spouse's employment details. Actually, they are not asked for and are not required.

Be cool and relaxed. Good Luck!!
