My query is regarding birth certificate.

At the time of sending my application, I could not get my and my spouse's birth certificate. So, I included our high school certificates along with affidavits from our respective parents. The fact that is troubling me is that my high school certificate has only date of birth mentioned but no father's or mother's name. My wife's high certificate has both date of birth and father's name.
1. Now, since I have been able to get birth certificates for both of us, should I send them separately or the above mentioned documents are enough?
2. If I have to send birth certificates now, how should I identify them with my file other than my name?

Thank you to all for helping each other through this forum :)
Hi Indiana_Jones

Saw your post after a very long time.I think affidavit would solve the purpose. But it is strongly recommended that if you have got BCs, you should immediatley send them. Make a cover letter stating your concern mention following details of urs

Application received date, time and received by
Surname
Name
DOB
Passport no
UCI if you have
Noc
Country
Address
Contact number

And send a labled envelop "additional documents for application dated ddmmyyy"

Then send an email on the day your this courior is delivered at cio mentioning new courior details alongwith all above details. Also attach scannedcopy of your documents in that email for their reference.
Request for the acknowledgement of the inclusion of additional documents to your original application inthat email.

Email id is cio-sydney-search-enquiry @cic.gc.ca (consider it without spaces)

Now do it ASAP. As july completness check must be on now.

Good luck bro

Well that`s the point, my current residing address would be from Quebec. Do you think, if I write a separate letter along with my application stating that I would not be looking to reside in Quebec, would that be sufficient.....

You said before that u have completed your masters in Quebec and now u wrote that current residing address would be from Quebec ie you are presently living in Quebec. I do not know which year you have completed your masters. Yes you can write a seperate letter stating that you are honestly not looking to reside in Quebec and if you have any supporting documents to prove your statement please enclosed that. You need to write something that you really do not want to live in Quebec( ie reasons why not Quebec and why other province which u will chose)

One year experience that I have is not from Canada, it is from my back home.

Plus my one year experience is sort of a 3 month contract, which got renewed for another 3 months and then for another 7 months which makes a total period of 13 months. I do have all contract extension letters and a final letter from them, stating that I have worked for them from July 2011 till Aug 2012. Would it be ok or the contract thing does not fit in FSW profile.....
Please read the job duties of NOC 2241, job responsibilties and duties in your contract must be relevant or similar to NOC-2241 only then your work experience would work.

Also my 2 previous queries are yet now answered. Can any one put some light on it too

1. Is it safe to apply for FSW under NOC 2241. And does any one has any idea about the cap for this particular NOC
NOC 2241 is not hot NOC you are absolutely safe if we talk about the caps however as per the spreadsheet it is taking almost 100-120 days to get DDor cc encashed. And now the point is when Express entry launch. People are saying they will accept accplication till april 2015 however it is clearly mentioned that this program will work till the day express entry launch.
2. Since I am living in Canada, I have been told by a friend of mine that If I apply for FSW I be getting PNP and not FSW
It is not true. I might doubt on this if you were in other province for Quebec everything is different. They have separate website separate criteria everything is different for Quebec.

Thanks

ECAS: 2 line updated in ECAS.."We started processing your application on September 24, 2014"

I got an email from DELHI IMMIGRATION today and I thought it was for MR email..
However, god is taking a tool on me .. Unfortunately I got an email for INTERVIEW CALL-IN LETTER  from DELHICONVOCATION
I'm not sure what went wrong with my application and supporting document.. Seniors, please share your thoughts, does anyone cross this hurdle...

I have posted the letter which I received as an attachment!

Dear XXXXXXXXXXX:

An interview concerning your application for permanent residence in Canada has been scheduled for you on Interview New Delhi 2014/11/05 09:30:00
PLEASE NOTE THAT INTERVIEW DATE FORMAT IS YEAR/MONTH/DATE at the Canadian High Commission, 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021. To allow sufficient time to pass through security, please appear at least 15 minutes but not more than 30 minutes before your scheduled interview time.
Your spouse and all dependent children 18 years and over must attend the interview with you. Children under 18 do not need to attend unless we have requested it. If you have adopted a child other than by court order, the natural parents and the child must also attend the interview.
The Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi provides interpretation services for Hindi and Punjabi only. Economic class applicants who require an interpreter for another language must engage the services of a qualified professional interpreter from an approved list of interpretation companies. This approved list of interpretation companies is attached to this letter. Should the applicant come to interview without one of these interpreters, the interview will be rescheduled, leading to processing delays. Interpreters other than from the firms on the approved list will not be accepted.
Please note that the figures quoted by the interpretation companies are not negotiable. Further, the companies have no connection to the High Commission and cannot assist you in any way to improve your chances of obtaining a visa. Should you attempt to negotiate on either on these items, we have instructed the companies to refuse to take you as a client. Thirdly, the companies should be contacted during business hours only. Should you call at any other time, the companies will refuse to take your calls.
Your application will be assessed at interview under the IRP Regulations For this assessment, we require current information regarding your education, work experience and your family configuration. Therefore, you are requested to bring with you the information/documentation listed below:
• completed immigrant application forms (IMM8) with schedules 1 and 3 and the Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) for yourself. These forms are available on CIC's website at cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/application-regular.asp
Immigration Section - Service de l'Immigration 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021 India

You must bring supporting documents in original for all new information on your application for which you have not already submitted evidence.
• completed immigrant application forms (IMM8) with schedule 1 and the Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) for your spouse and each dependent child 18 years of age and over irrespective of whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not.

• conclusive proof of your claimed level of proficiency in English and/or French. This can be in the form of language test results by an approved organization or a written submission supporting your claimed level.

In addition, you must bring the following documents to the interview for each person included in your application:
• Original individual passports for each family member included in the application

regardless of age;
• Six photos, as per the enclosed instructions, for each person included in your application.
• Height and eye colour information for all eligible dependants as per the enclosed form;
• If you applied more than 12 months ago you must bring a current Police Certificate for

you and all eligible dependants over 18 years of age. This Police Certificate must be

You must also bring to the interview original of the following documents for each person included in your application together with certified translations into English or French:
• birth, death, marriage, divorce document(s) as applicable to your case, if not already submitted;
• degrees, diplomas, mark sheets (or other documents confirming educational status);
• documentary evidence that establishes each of your dependants' relationship to you; (eg. original birth registration, school documents with parents' names etc.)
• employers' references/appointment letters with detailed information on duties performed, salary slips from your current and previous employments, provident fund receipts, Form 16, and evidence of vocational training and apprenticeship of training for yourself;
• proof of personal funds available to finance your resettlement in Canada; (e.g. bank statements for the past one year, fixed deposit receipts, and receipts of other transferable investments in your name.) If you have validated arranged employment, this does not apply to you.

• If you plan to have your dependents accompany you to Canada or to join you within the validity date of the visa, processing fees for all dependents must be paid before the interview. We recommend that, if you have not paid the fees, you send them immediately by the fastest means. Should the fees not be paid prior to the interview, no credit will be given for your spouse in the IRPA assessment. Fees are payable by bank draft or certified cheque only. Cash is not accepted.

• Copies of employer`s registration / incorporation.

NOTE: If you fail to attend this interview your application will be assessed based on the information contained in your application form and the supporting documentation you have provided. Since an interview was scheduled to address concerns with the information in your file, this will likely lead to the refusal of your application. No additional interview will be scheduled.
If corresponding with this office, please quote the above file number.
This letter should be presented at the Immigration gate when you arrive for your interview and then to the receptionist inside.
Sincerely,
Immigration Section

Thanks for your reply.
However, I was of the impression that FSW is till 31 Dec 2014 and after that Express entry will be launched from 1 Jan 2015. Does your statement means that FSW is valid till the launch of express entry and is there any time line mentioned for the launch of express entry.

Please comment

Thanks

Good to know. The faster processing for you could be because you had PCC earlier also.
+1 for sharing.

Give +1 (Click Good on Left)
I am not quite sure about faster processing as they have to run the background check again.
BTW: saying +1 does not add anything to reputation unless you actually click the Good under Ratings.

Thanks. Yes, they can confirm with WES but the issue is will CIC still consider it as original? Some applicants got rejected because of not sending original WES report, hence worried here. :-[ :-[
copied issued by WES or in any case by any authority are considered original (Duplicate of Original) not a copy. so should not be an issue. My all DMCs (mark sheets) are duplicate from university but they considered as original. I got PR of australia nd then E3 of US on these originals.
