I have already taken PCC from Regional Passport office 3 days back for Canada.

My passport will be expiring in June 2015, so I want to get it renewed in Tatkal (8-10 days).

Please suggest,
- Should I go ahead for passport renewal, or should I wait?
- After renewal on which mail should I inform NVDO/CIC

After transferring the account, get a print of the bank statement to keep a proof that it has been transferred from you saving account to fixed deposit account.

Hi All,

I have 10 lakhs in my account as my proof of fund in Savings, and I sent bank certificate to CIC as savings only. Can I convert the savings now to Fixed deposit. Will it create any problem once my app reach to VO?

Some one has put in a big typo error in the sheet .. instead of 12june credit card charge, someone has entered 6th december ... Please correct that entry coz all estimates go for a toss....

I can see in the spreadsheet that LVO has issued MR request to two applicants, May 14 & May 15. Both working in Gulf, one from India and one from Pakistan. LVO works in a strange mood.... lets hope for the best to hear from LVO soon

Hi Sanv - I am new to this forum. I need one help from CA friends... I sent my Chartered Accountant qualification transcript for evaluation to WES. But i only received my B.com evaluation. I did not receive my evaluation for CA. Could you please suggest a way out? WES has shown evaluation in "my account" as completed even for CA qualification but they did not send it with B.com evaluation. Any particular reason for that.

If any other forum member has some inputs, please share. I am a bit worried on not having ECA formy CA qualification,.

Be patient PER is the first communication between CIC and applicant.. For DD applicants, DD status can get enquired from assoioated bank.

1. can you please tell me how does visa office enquire about background or employment of person ?
they do telephonic enquiry or email or personal visit to the organization?

2. my co-applicant was working as freelancer and we sent her profile details paper with application as her employment proof,but she didn't got any projects online and current status is she is not working as freelancer anymore ,now she is looking for job . so how will it effect our case ??
would visa office ask for her details ? guide me what to do in such case

I have some wonderful news. I received MR from my VO today! ;D . I am just blown away by this. Exactly 3 weeks after receiving PER. My VO seem to be on the ball this year! Refer to my timeline below:

MR rcvd: 30 Sep 2014

ECAS still has only the first line. I also got a request to submit Original Birth Certificate and RPRF. Nothing else.

Hi All,

I have submitted my detailed marks cards of the post graduation and graduation degree but I haven't added my degree certificates. This was the reason of the rejection of the file.

Please let me know if now I apply again with all the degree certificates included in 2173 ?? Is it possible I will fall under the cap ??

I am very much confused . All other things in my application are complete and correct.

Yes, the degree certificate copies were mandatory so I am sorry for your case.

You can give 2173 a shot if you want but according to me, the probability is very low and it would be better to opt for any other NOC if you can.

Smh too. The POF amount can so hard fi find too, and these people just nyaming out the money. At least if they really were helpful, it would be bad and no so bad, but what you described about what you went through was just ridiculous.

Even I am planning to get a re-issue on my passport.
Got my PER on sep 24.
I think it wont be an issue since you're u r applying under tadkal.
