its not too late for 2171 .. I mean there is noone on this forum who can say for sure but here is my calculation for 2171:

May 275
June 180 (based on SS extra polation)
July 160
August 140
September 120
October 100
November Remaining few

I believe that this NOC would stay open till October end atleast.. I myself would be applying in first week of October and would advise you to not lose hope ..

As for CA, I guess there is NOC 1111 Financial auditors and accountants where she can apply .

I need help. I have exp letter for 1 year and 7 month in one company and with gap of 10 days I am working in next company for 8 months now in the same job description. So it will count as 2 years and 3 months in total right ?

Hello Anybody has applied from England and has obtained PCC from there please advise what they write in that PCC as I have to apply for that probably next month when my money will be deducted. My wife is NOC 2173 applicant from India. I am dependent. I lived in UK for 7 years and my wife for 2 years. Can anybody please send me the copy of PCC if possible just want to have a look. Thanks

If there is no criminal history against your name , they will mention "NO TRACE" on the certificate. Thats it.

My passport is expiring approximately in a year's time.

I can apply for renewal of passport anytime within last 12 months of it's expiry date.

What happens if I apply for a new passport after PER is issued but during the period during which VO is processing my application.

I am not sure if I get a new passport number if I renew my passport. Do I need to notify VO about my new passport and updated information?

I can wait for nearly 11 months before I renew my passport, is it better wait?

Hi All,
I just checked in my birth certificate that the name of father has been misspelled. In all my other documents his name is DIWAKAR but in my birth certificate its DEWAKAR. To get this corrected it will take 2 weeks, should i just send it the way it is or should i get it rectified.

Brother you can work in what ever field u want, many people go there and do ms or MBA or other degree and then work in that field, it's not necessary u work for the same field through which you applied. Good luck

I'm also in almost a similar situation as I have to get my passport re issued because of exhaustion of pages. I received PER 3 weeks back and I have decided to get the passport re issued before I submit it to VO. Its better to get the Visa on the new/valid passport

I can see in your timeline that u have received your PER on 18 Aug....but how you came to know that your file transfered on 19 Aug...or its just an idea.

Its not a joke man.. I am serious. It falls under same category right. I am designing databases and softwares both for 3 years now.
database is 2172 and software is 2173. So cant you work in any JD if you do find a job in them

Well if you think the NOC which suits you first is getting filled and you don't stand a chance then avoid applying in it but, if you think other NOC has better chances for you and YOU DO have EXPERIENCE in it & prove it through black and white from your employer, then go for it, it's just my humble Idea, after all it's all up to you!

I have sent DD (ICICI BANK) of $490 for RPRF to NDVO. Now I want to cross check that NDVO has received DD.

How can I do that?? Should I call ICICI Bank or Can I call NDVO. ??

Yes ..you can send mail to Canadian high commission explaining that you send xyz things, and ask them to confirm. dont forget to mention you app number, passport no. DOB, your name.
