3480 is for all NOCs and pls bear in mind, this number is only summation of all applicants registered on this forum and who have updated the SS.
The actual entries that must have reached CIC will be at least 3-4 times higher than this number.
just want to ask if the information provided on cic link is absolutely correct or not??

Yeah for safer side we can start processing it once we get PER. But is anywhere CIC mentioned that it is only accepted if issued within 3 months at the time of submission.

Why I am asking this is, through PSK current appointment I can get is after 1 and half months so if I try to get it once I get PER then I will get a date which will be more than one month later and PCC processing take another month or so.
Well I don't think PCC takes month to process it only take week or so. So even if it's month then also you'll have it older for 2 months which is completely okay. Choice is yours though!

@ tveeter

There are many NOC in which CA can apply, NOC is job description based not education specific. So he needs to look into related NOC descriptions to see which one matches his wife's JD. Your friend has to options

1. either do it himself or ask his wife to go through list of eligible occupations and following PDF file http:// www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/pdf/PrintableVersionNOC2011.pdf (remove spaces)

2. Hire a consultant, who can spoon feed him.

P.S: I am quite sure that ur friend is actually ur boss.

@tveeter

Bcuz u r doing basic spade work for him. :-X

Again, i am against spoon feeding your friend's wife shud go through the list of eligible NOC's and she will know it herself in 5-10 mins

Yes you're correct on this. You'll get points for 2 years. Means 11 Points!

But the question is how he can enter experience less than 1 year in Schedule 3 form ?

Hello Guys,

My friend needs help. He is IT Manager (advisory project manager) and his wife is CA. as per previous information on this forum 2171 is only applicable code where IT managers can possibly apply and I believe it is already too late for this code.

Is there anything for CA so that he can put primary applicant as his wife ?

Hi tveeter,

its not too late for 2171 .. I mean there is noone on this forum who can say for sure but here is my calculation for 2171:

May 275
June 180 (based on SS extra polation)
July 160
August 140
September 120
October 100
November Remaining few

I believe that this NOC would stay open till October end atleast.. I myself would be applying in first week of October and would advise you to not lose hope ..

As for CA, I guess there is NOC 1111 Financial auditors and accountants where she can apply .

Best of luck ..
