Hi my friends,

PER was received today in my email inbox. So happy and relieved from stress. Application received on May 22nd, 2014 and CC charged on September 8th, 2014.

My Local visa office is CPC, ottawa , When would I expect MR/ police certificate/ and PR fees from them? would it come in one email ? People who have their applications with this office, please share your experience

This conversion to CAD for bank certificates / statements is not required. Bank statements will always have amounts mentioned in local currency. Shouldn't worry about this too much !!

Looking at all this, the CIC cap update and correlating it with what Dmitry did yesterday, he was 100% spot on. Dont know what prompted him to do this change, but he predicted it very well. Congrats buddy!!

looking at today's update, it seems this NOC will fill up faster than expected, unless it slows down again later..
Earlier expected date for CAP to reach as per me was 7th Aug 2014, but now it might be closer.

I still have a feeling this will slow down a bit later and you should be safe. We will have to wait and watch.

Thanks for replying mate ... But in case CIC had return the application due to cap limit, Will there be any update through E-mail or do we just have to wait for documents to reach our address ???

This is what OScar7 did and worked for him: include UCI (if available), Passport #, DOB, NOC and Original App. Received Date details in a cover letter that also explains the situation. Send a scanned copy of the coverletter via e-mail as well.

Make sure that you also include updated forms of they require passport info. And clearly mark the envelope as an additional document.

predicted what ??

He has predicted that the no. of apps in the SS is not as high as the % predicted earlier as people were coming in and updating the entries long after they sent the app. So, he decreased the % of apps in the SS, hence the date the cap would reach has reduced drastically.

Be prepared to change credit card charge estimates by end of the month ..... CIC speed has changed considerably...... It may not stay constant but this fillip is a big one .... !!

My friend is a Canadian citizen and I have done this after consulting him. He lost both his parents and could not provide any other document as birth proof. His birth was not registered. He applied to a solicitor and they have advised him to file an affidavit. He did it and now he is a Citizen of Canada. But, I must admit, i dont have personal experience here.

An Affidavit fr BC is perfectly fine to submitt..

I did it fr me and fr my wife too...

and I received my PER on 27th of Aug...

Hope it clearifies a lot of queries for those who hv issues with BC or procuement of BC fr self or dependents....
